AMP Bed Step. Great Product. Works. Directions suck ass. PRO TIP, cut the factory bracket and it’s a 4 bolt install.

WeatherTech tail gate protector and bed liner rock and are easy installs.

BAK Revolver X4. Great product. Works as well as my BackFlip. Great directions. Allows for tie down rails to be used.

DECKED. 10/10 construction. 8/10 directions (they need more blow up pics of the larger pics so measure twice so to speak). Install is a 10/10 assuming you have the right tools and general knowledge. I used a impact wrench and just snugged up everything (one person install). Nothing blew up or was out of alignment (YMMV). Drawer work like a dream and is easy to use. Everything is tight and OEM like.

I get 9” space from deck to tonneau cover.

Note: you will need to trim top to make room for bed light. Jigsaw and dremel is all you’ll need. (See pic)

Looks great! I have the bak rollover and love it. Pretty easy hauling tall loads with minimal hassle.

What's the texture like on the WT tailgate liner, is it slick? Love the Decked setup, I would get one but only 9' to the top wont cut it for me and I would have to move to a cap instead of the bed cover. Nice work!

I've been considering the weather guard bed liner for a while. You may have just convinced me. I have a diamond back 270 tonneau.

I installed the Underliner. I’m not sure how it differs from Bedliner past the edge lip in the pictures. I secured it with industrial Velcro around the edges. I installed it to protect the bed from the DECKED pillars and Ammo Cans.

Looks great. Love my Decked system but can't have a bed cover due to the fact that I have to haul ladders for work so I installed the Thule Xsport adjustable ladder rack. Will have to take some pics for here.

    Thanks,

It's not that your instruction are not clear as much as the pictures show A LOT of information and there are A LOT of bolts. It can be confusing in those large pictures without blow ups. If you blew up the ammo can front and rear showing that they use two different bolts it would be easier to understand that the deck bolts and front ammo can bolts are the same and the rears cans use the bolts and nuts. Your individual packages say ammo cans, rails and deck.

I had to lay out the bolts and count. I really though you sent me one less pack of bolts for the ammo cans until I looked hard at it and thought it through. If you split the directions up into two steps on that page and or blew up the pictures it would have been easier. Or you could just label the ammo can bolt package and rear ammo can and the other bolt package and front ammo can and deck.

Other than this nit picky complaint the system is very simple to install if you take your time and think it through.

If I had one other suggestion for the Tundra it would be to have a scribed on the underside of the deck for the necessary trim off for the bed lights. It would have been a lot faster if the factory had scribed a line to follow for the cut. The only way I knew about this beforehand was I read the Q&A section of your sight before I installed. Had I not, I would have figured it out when I tried to put both pieces together and they would not have fit. I would have called or just guessed to trim it. I can't be the only 'factory bed light' guy with this issue. If it was in the instructions and scribed it would be a better.

FWIW the tool boxes are VERY well built for the cost. Your packaging is nice and the 'box-o-pieces' came complete.

Why was one handle installed and the other not? I get cost savings, but 1/2 savings...lol.

I am not sure I understand what you're asking. The tailgate protector is a separate piece from the underliner. The tailgate protector fits under the edge of the factory tailgate cap (is this the part that scratches easily) lip and uses the tailgate screws and velcro.

Great write up and photos. That is a great looking truck. Envious!

We are torn on which Bak cover to order (Revolver X4 or Flip MX4). Since you have had both, currently own a Tundra with the OEM rails, do you have a preference? We do a little bit of hauling in the bed, tree's, stuff from Lowe's and such. Our real concern is getting our bags and kids stuff in the back on camping trips, keeping it dry and locked up in the off chance we head into a restaurant and we don't have to move anything into the cab of the truck. Thank you in advance for perspective.

    Best,
    George

Personally I have the X2 and it's really nice. The difference is the satin finish on the x2 vs the matte finish on the x4. But even though that's supposed to be the only difference, the x2 seems to have much better reviews and fewer problems with rolling up easily (especially in cold weather) and fewer reposted issues with the durability of the "leather" cover. Plus you can probably get an x2 cheaper.

Both keep the bed dry and secure. Both are fairly easy to remove.

    BAK
Allows you to fip in 3 stages so you only need to uncover a 1/3 of the bed at a time.
When completely folded up it cover your rear window.

    Revolver
Requires you to completely roll up when you are going to travel with an exposed bed.
Does not cover the rear window when completely rolled up.

Both will allow you to put things on them when covering the bed. The BAK will allow a little more weight. (don't ask me how much more). Neither is enough for a grown man.

If I was going to build the ultimate camping (glamping) rig, I would fab a rail along on the sides of the bed that would hold a custom rack for a tent (rack would be removable). Rack would also allow for transport of bikes/kayak and so on, as well as, leave the bed open/closed with DECKED system installed. It would be over the cab the length of the truck with a fold out for covered side for table/chair. Other side would allow for a gravity shower.
