Tundra center console tray from Salex Organizers

Salex Organizers has developed a center console tray to go along with the center console organizer for both the Gen2 and Gen3 Tundra. There have been many requests after the release of the console organizers for a hanging tray. This hanging tray is compatible with the lower Salex grid type console organizer to maximize the usage of the entire console.

The tray is a molded from durable black ABS plastic with a nice matte finish. The tray has no slip liners in each side to keep things from sliding and rattling while driving. The pockets are 2" deep. There is 2.5" between the top of the lower Salex organizer and the bottom of the tray organizer. The tray can slide front to back to give access to items below. The tray just hangs from the top of the console. No mounting required!

Doesn't look like it's too deep, does it rest on the top of the divider, or is there some space between? Then I'm assuming you can slide it back and forth to get things under it, without having to lift it out completely?

 

I thought it was for everything, including bottom storage, seeing now it's just top tray. Does look a little thin, too.

The pockets are 2" deep. There is 2.5" between the top of the lower Salex organizer and the bottom of the tray organizer. The tray can slide front to back to give access to items below.

 

That is correct, top tray only. The plastic is .09" thick. This allows the console lid to close with no rubbing or sticking. The design of the tray and using ABS plastic keeps the tray very rigid. Many of these OEM and aftermarket trays are made from polypropylene for cost. Polypropylene needs to be molded thicker because it can't support the same load as ABS. Bottom line is you get what you pay for.

Not sure how many of you are on Tundra Talk. I am not, it is pricey to be a vendor there. If someone could start some chatter over there about the new tray it would be appreciated.

Salex Organizers is also releasing these trays for the Tacoma (2016+), Toyota 4Runner (2010+), and Chevy Silverado/Suburban/Tahoe and GMC Sierra/Yukon/Yukon XL (2014+) this Septemeber.
