All four Bilstein 5100s for $117???!!!

As soon as Michelle sends me my confirmation email I will post. I receive them Monday

 

If I were the seller, I would've sent an apology letter to everyone and then offer the shocks for $20 above cost. Even if 1/4 of the 8000 people accepted the offer, I'd still make $40,000. Then everyone wins.

I’m waiting to receive my mystery item before I call Amazon. No tracking info provided with my shipment confirmation today, so it might be next week before I see something

 

They had me order the new items from a trusted seller they recommend and then refund me the difference upon shipping.

 

Amazon escalated the issue and requested the vendor to ship the shocks at the listing price. We’ll see what happens

 

Someone responded to the poll that they received the shocks. Is this accurate?

 

At 350.00 a set of 4, that’s 2.8 million. At 117.00 that’s just under a million. Ouch

 

So what steps did you take to get those results?

Wait until the fake package arrived, then called or emailed Amazon customer service? Did you ever call or email the actual seller for a refund?

 

I will be calling Amazon tomorrow.

 

This is what I emailed the seller. I then called Amazon and walked them through the process and explained it was clear and evident what they were doing because a freaking .25 plastic name badge holder does not match a $233 order.

 

I did not and will not seek the second set. I verified I'm getting my refund.

As for the two sets I am getting I didn't even ask her to do this, she offered and I was blown away. I love Amazon

At the same time guys you got to think it's fishy that these guys have collected $1000000 from all of us... 8000 times 117 is just shy of $1000000 and that money got put into their bank account the second they shipped these 50 cent pieces of plastic.

I'm learning some are being told what I got is not an option for them. I bet that is taken into consideration because I've been a prime member for 6 years and also spend over $10k every year on there at least, $15ish last year

The thread is getting a bit silly, but we are all adults and choose to make our own decisions. I believe with Amazon's A-Z guarantee we are all safe, there is no risk to us.

Thanks again for sharing the deal and thanks for making the poll, etc. We do appreciate it, despite all the Shenanigans in here.

 

@AlmightyCrash You have no fault in this whatsoever. I mean NONE. The way I see it, you were looking out for your fellow Tundra compatriots. There’s nothing wrong with that. If a deal like this comes up again, I wouldn’t hesitate to jump on it for a chance to get a great deal (granted not from 4Wheel Online). If anytihng, thanks for posting!!

 

We all knew the risk. We are all grown adults (I think). Not your fault. I knew I would either get cheap shocks or most likely just have some money tied up for a few days. Most likely the latter. Not your fault and don't blame yourself one bit.
