Replacing stock speakers with JL audio c1's coupled with a kenwood head unit. ( sub and amp as well).Hoping it works out, anyone had any luck with these speakers/head unit? I'm not doing the work, audio shop is btw. This is what they recommended after I said I wanted to upgrade my sound..

Cool, thanks for the reply.Did you install yourself or have a shop do it? If a shop how much did they charge you ( if you can remember and dont mind me asking)?

I'm waiting on a JL package to arrive, but I'm going with my OEM non-JBL (for now at least). What's your installer charging you? I'm debating doing it myself or not right now, and if I'm going to add sound deadening.

Total is going to be around $1500 .. that's with the $450 head unit. I would do it myself but I dont know jack about sound systems.. just going off thier recommendation. I'll let you know exactly what's put in and how much it cost me by days end..

CL1 components for front/rear, 10" sub and box, JL 5 channel. I've been quoted $250 for install, so I'll probably just let the shop install it. I like working on my truck, but don't feel like spending a day just on this project. What was the cost for your install only?

I was charged a total of $1200 for everything. I believe I was only charged for the head unit radio install which was mostly the Sirius xm tuner I requested. I'll be take a pic of the itemized receipt and post later. I put way too much thought into the install cost when it was basically free as long as I bought the equipment through them.
