Bug Deflector

Anyone out there have have a bug deflector and do they really work??? Would like to get one but want some input before buying for 2014 n up

 

I have one and it does help. Usually, if I do get bug splats, I get them higher up the windshield. I typically don't get them much though.

Where we live, probably every other truck or every third truck has one on. Also bugs are aplenty around here. When I visited San Diego some years ago, I did not see too many vehicles with one on. I would think bugs are not as big of a problem there. I think it really depends on where you live.

 

What brand do you have

That's what my windshield looks like when I drive through Montana with no bug guard and your sure it helps?

 

Weathertech one looks nice. It works too

 

Seems to, as stated before by @chphilo the bugs only show up on the upper half of the windshield.

My AVS's work pretty good up to a point. If you come across a bug swarm, then not much help. Just a lot of bug splats up high. Doesn't happen too often around here. Definitely worth the money. (Not much $ either)
