Awesome. That’s good to hear. I was interested in their product but then I saw some bad reviews and then screen shots of some of their interactions with customers.

Not sure about the past history but I can tell you @KB Voodoo has been on point with me from start to finish. They answered my emails over the weekend when I had install questions, shipped my rack incredibly well packed and quickly, all the components are impressive and seem to be really high quality and they are helping me out with some creative ideas and a few odd requests to be able to mount a fly rod vault to my rack. A+ on my end. Hope that puts you more at ease I know these things aren’t cheap and if you’re like me you like to know you’re buying from a company that recognizes that.

Ive had my KB voodoo Alumax for about 2 months now. Took out the Bakflip, which is now stored in the garage. I have left it on the truck for 2 months and been out winter camping about 3 times.

If you have doubts about rust, then I suggest getting their alumax. The only part that is steel is the foot/bracket attaching to the bed rails. For $100 dollars more pay the extra for your peace of mind re rust.

In regards to black anodized crossbars, yes it would be nice. I personally would have gotten them. But as i think more and more about it, the crossbars are fine as it is. Cause if you really use the rack, it is going to get scratched, banged, and dinged eventually in the trails and by us loading the RTT. So black annodized would eventually look like black bars with *aluminum silver stripes due to us loading and using the rack.

The powder coated parts of my Alumax is pretty solid! The customer support of @KB Voodoo has been excellent. I asked for extra bolts and with no questions asked he mailed it quickly with other attachments I purchased. I received my rack packed really well. He answers questions fairly quickly. So far this rack has been through the fallen trees of the Lost Coast and the falling snow of Tahoe. I have not regretted the purchase cause it is tough, modular, and it looks damn good!

I would be very interested to see how the Rod Vault looks and works out. I have the magnetized one on my hood and HATE that I worry about the paint. Something attached to a rack would be awesome!! I think I'm pretty close to @KB Voodoo also.

I know that this is an old theard. Just wanted to give my 2 cents. When checking for Toyota tundra overland options, I came accross with the Leitner Active Cargo System FORGED Bed Rack. I loved the design, I am not a fan of bulky look racks so this one really caught my attention.

I like how the xtrusion overland racks look and function. It allows a softtopper to b e installed under the rack.
