So would you recommend this pedal commander as a must have with a SC set up? I'm trying to get an endgame plan for the drivetrain. I'm running a 34.3" tire, planning on a re-gear to 4.88's, and longtube headers (I'm between the JBA's like yours or the AR set that comes with the catted midpipes that are a bolt on to the TRD duals I already have), and now the pedal commander. I have the SC which was the first big game changer. What would you say made the second biggest difference after the SC?

Btw... Always enjoy seeing your new upgrades!!! Inspiring to say the least.

If I was do long tube headers again I would go with American Racing’s long tube headers. Go to YouTube and there is a video comparison by DAP on the differences. I noticed a big difference with the pedal commander on my SC setup. I was getting 7lbs of boost where before the truck has a lag. I don’t know if I will have it long term though. I tried to get DAP to tune my truck but they haven’t released the flex fuel tune yet. I’ve heard they have been dragging the release for a very long time. So I’m taking my truck to Houston this month to change my tuner to an HP tuner and a custom tune that will be setup for longtube headers.

Just a heads up if you go with Longtube headers on a flex fuel tundra. If your using a bully dog tuner it isn’t calibrated for long tube headers. You only option is to get a custom tune done and there isn’t a simple solution yet. PM me if you need more help.

    Thanks for the kind words!

My replacement front row double leds came into. The Big brake kit is a lot larger so I had to get longer lights. 278DD375-3A87-4187-9311-1D81665A982A.jpg

    Thanks,
I really like the AR set, and I'm a non-ffv. Do you think I my BD tuner would be ok with the long tubes? I haven't seen anyone other than you that is both SC'd and longtubed. I haven't thrown any codes with the SC and I wouldn't want to start now.

Also, What's your take on re-gearing? Thanks

I would call Bully Dog before you do the long tube headers and confirm with them. I know my FFV and bully dog tune doesn’t like long tube headers.

I love having my truck regeared!

I can’t say enough on how clean the install is and how great the function of these new NSV rear screens are. Tomorrow I’m going to upload a custom screen image for startup. They come with a SD card port, USB port, HDMI port and a headphone jack. My kids should get some good use out of these. They are also touch screens. The backlight color can be changed independently for each monitor to different colors. 2CD757DD-11FC-4266-811F-558C64BB1AD9.jpg

Purchase location for the NSV screens?

Will the pedal commander work with the BDX to have an advantage?

I bought NSV screens directly from the Rep. I’m not sure if they have them for sale online. I can ask the rep if you want?

The pedal commander definitely made a difference for me. I can’t speak for everyone though. I do have my truck going in to a tunning shop in two weeks. After they custom tune and Dyno I don’t know if I will need the pedal commander anymore. I’ve been told this shop is getting over 550 hp with their tune. I don’t really care about the hp numbers as much as I do to not throwing codes anymore from my long tube headers.

Removing the seats is very easy and quick. Loosen front two bolts, move seat forward all the way, disconnect battery, then loosen back bolts, lean seat backwards, disconnect the harness plugs under seat and your ready to remove them. It’s quick and makes a big difference for cleaning.
