Eagle Rare is a staple in my cabinet. Easily found in Iowa. Another low cost gem is Evan Williams Single Barrel

Easily found in Houston too, thankfully

Blantons, weller 12/107, any EH Taylor above small batch and Elmer T Lee are near impossible to find here though

I figured your the man to know the answer. It’s $45 for the ten and $70 for the 15yr. Worth it?

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a 10 year for $350 last November. I can only imagine how good the 15 year is. I think you should have the 15 yr....

Yes, I was lucky. My son works at a package store down in FL and I had given him a heads up back in August to keep an eye out and just after Thanksgiving boom.....bottle acquired!

scotch whisky. glenlivet french oak reserve 15 yr. you're welcome. seriously, some of the best whisky/whiskey i've ever had. only topped by johnnie walker blue label.

johnnie walker blue is the BEST i've had, but at $225 for a bottle, i find the green label to have a great flavor and be just as smooth. and, about 1/3 the cost.

even so, glenlivet french oak for the win.

A couple of buddies rave about Joseph Magnus products. I was skeptical but they convinced me to go in on a case (3 bottles) of this Murray Hill Club special release (this was batch 2) as they loved the cigar blend releases from Magnus.

Hot damn it's good. Is it worth $180? Not sure, but I'm 100% willing to buy another one. Some say finished bourbons are cheating but good ones rival high end finished scotches. Too bad they only produced 700 of them so I won't get another of the same batch.

We had a whiskey event last week and I got to have one hell of a flight. Bonus, the 20yr was a S-W bottle from 2011. Absolutely incredible and I get the hype, but of course none of them are worth the insane secondary prices they command these days.

Latest addition that I’ll be trying out very shortly:

Not sure if I have posted about the William Wolf Pecan Bourbon right behind it next to the Makers 46, but it is quite delicious (more smooth and not quite as sweet as Select Club Pecan Praline Whisky that’s been discussed here).

My favorite is Angel's Envy Rye. Whistle Pig, Four Roses Small Batch, and Jefferson's Ocean Wheated Rye are all pretty damn good as well.

Knob Creek is one that i remember really liking. Its been a pretty go while but yeah, was good stuff. Jim Beam was my preference for normal drinking.

One more that kinda counts, its a brandy, was/is King Louise(or Louis, Louie ?) The 13th.
That sound right, i think. Either way, was at Atlantic City for a week over New Years. Giy who took me was the second highest comped person of the Sands Casino. They broke out the King Louie for us cause he say it was my birthday.. Lol. $200 a glass.
