Sway bars for 2003 tundra help

    Hi all, long time lurker, new member. I am looking to get front and rear Hellwig sway bars(or another trusted brand) for my 2003 Tundra . Any recommendations on who I should buy these from? A while back, someone posted a link of a place that gave Tundra forum members a discount but I can find that thread now. Checked prices from suppliers I could find and they are soo much more expensive than what I've read people buying them for.

    Front $200 and rear is $350. Seems like a lot for sway bars.

    Mine came with the OEM front sway when new. I did purchase a
    $500 Hellwig 7700 Solid, Heat Treated Chromoly, 1-1/8" Rear Sway Bar
    Hellwig 7700 a few months back for around $320 (fleabay). You’ll be glad you did it afterwards. Go online to the retailers. They are way less than going straight through Hellwig.

    Yeah Hellwig site was $550 for just the rear sway bar. Did you install it yourself, how difficult was it?

    Easy. You’ll use standard wrenches rather than metric. Took about hour and a half. I started the links out on the 3rd setting per Hellwig instructions to get used to the bar. I’ve since moved it to the middle and the truck handles even better. Might move it to the final setting soon, but right now its nice. Handles like a sports car. Great for towing, too.

    The online prices I’ve seen fluctuate between $305-395 depending on their strategy. I scored on the $320 price, as it is usually $350+.

    Cool thanks. I just found a rear hellwig on Amazon for $302 and got it. I did all that searching and didn't bother checking Amazon. Have Bilstein 5100 shocks and spidertrax spacers on the way as well. Excited

    Huge. My 02’ front links rusted off a few years back and she didn’t take corners very well. Had the front end recently rebuilt and new links put on the OEM front sway (which is super heavy duty like the
    $500 Hellwig 7700 Solid, Heat Treated Chromoly, 1-1/8" Rear Sway Bar
    Hellwig 7700) and the truck felt way better.

    Decided to do a rear sway and man... it makes a huge difference! Should have done it years ago.

    I just installed
    $500 Hellwig 7700 Solid, Heat Treated Chromoly, 1-1/8" Rear Sway Bar
    Hellwig 7700 in the back and it made a BIG difference in traction control and cornering. Looks like I will add the front sway bar next. Helpful input. Thank you!
