Has anyone replaced these? The key fob won't unlock/lock the driver door so figuring it must be toast. However it looks like I need to move the window track out of the way to get the assembly out. Looks like a right PITA. 2005 Double Cab.

My passenger side one doesn't work. I have to look like a gentleman unlocking the door for my wife. I'm thinking about tackling it soon now that I drive my truck again.

I figured it out. You do need to unbolt the rear window track. One bolt and a nut. Then you can wrangle the assembly out. You also need to disconnect it from the door handle. Then just unscrew the old actuator assembly and screw the new one on and reassemble.

I'm sure you can pull the whole actuator apart and just fix the motor but I bought the whole thing for $50 on ebay.

I have the same problem on my 2000 access cab. Haven't torn anything apart yet but I assume its a bad actuator as well. Thanks for the info.
