I’m looking to get new brakes front and rear on my 15 Platinum. I was thinking of getting the plain StopTech premium rotors on front and plain Centric premium rotors on the rear with Hawk LTS on all 4. Do you think it will be an issue having different rotors between front and rear?

I haven’t been able to find the StopTech rears in stock anywhere. So that’s why I’m thinking of doing it like that, and I really need the brakes done now and can’t wait for them to be in stock. So I figured I’d go this route especially since at least I’m getting the StopTech ones up front.

I have been getting my Brakes from a seller on eBay Brakemotive ... been using these ceramic pads and drilled, slotted rotors for over 10 years. Never any problems. Great stopping power and they last. All my vehicles have them, except my 19 dc but will when these wear out.

Stop tech uses Centric for their rotors. When you get your Stoptech rotors, don’t be surprised if they come in a box with Centric on it. The stoptech premium is basically the centric high carbon rotor. StopTech makes quality stuff either way and I have never had an issue with either Centric or Stoptech brand rotors.

I used the Brakemotive ones as well on my 02 Avalanche. Loved 'em! Never any issues. Great prices too. They will be my next goto brakes when I'm ready on the Tundra. I do a ton of stop n go traffic all year long. And for those that know about dealing with NYC drivers that should say it all...

To the OP. Why are you even thinking about brakes? Stock pads and rotors are good out to 100,000 miles and work perfect. Sure slotted and cross drilled look cool. EBC and Hawk have some very good pads. Unless you are racing around a track the stock equipment is all you will ever need.
