Spidertrax 1.25" spacers and toytec 2.5" level kit showed up today.

Spacers were put in when I had an hour of free time today. I could NOT be happier. They're perfect! Level will go in this coming week. After that, last thing I want to do is the TRD grill and I'm done for a while. I've already dropped almost $2k into this thing and I've had it 6 weeks lol

Got to finish up installing the Undercover Swing Case. This puppy holds more than I would have thought. I all my ratchet straps, bungee straps, bike mounts and battery booster pack inside. I may even add another on the passenger side. It removes SUPER easy and was an easy enough install. Will have to see if I will miss my tie down locations, but I think with the tie downs on the bed system I should be alright.

ps. I have an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 cover and the swing door fits with the tonneau locked into place. It looks tight, but it was easy to clip into place. No rubbing or anything.

    And Now Pictures!!!

Found a used rear sway bar cheap and local. After food I'll go test the ride. Install was quick with a good helper.

Derped the grille but then my daughter thought it would be a good idea to have her Barbie touch it while it was still wet, so I ended up peeling it all off a couple hours later. First world dad problems.

I haven't driven around with her installed yet to be honest. Also my music is usually cranked. I'll check the next time I go out and see if hear anything unusual.

I have one as well, with all the windows down and no tonneau I can hear a little bit if squeeking at low speeds. Any other combo (tonneau closed, going faster, with does up, etc.) I can't hear a thing.

Well after the wheel spacers I rub a touch at full lock with my 275/70's. Looks like I might have some trimming to do but I'm going to wait until the level is installed to see if it helps at all.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Dipped my grill and front bumber valance today, it's going to have to do until I can afford the color matched trd grill and bulge.
Originally was going to do all the chrome too but wanted to see how it would look like this. Eventually will probably go ahead with the original plan.

I've had same results after listening for this today. I put a soft cushion wrap on the bottom of the box to stop the ratchets from rubbing on the plastic, but it probably wasn't needed. The thing is great. I'll take a photo soon of everything I have stored inside to show the capacity.

Today's project was the dipping of the chrome bumper sides. I was pleased to discover the plasti-dip did not hinder the sensors, so I didn't have to peel off around them. Removing the front grille and plastic sides was much quicker today as now I know how to tackle this.

My wife caught the bug as well and decided to remove the chrome off her Rav4. Fun stuff!!

ps. The Tacoma is my neighbors. He also got the itch but asked me to do his side emblems as he was impressed of the magic that is Plasti-dip.

pss. Wife included in photo for bonus points.

Worth a shot, $37 in plastidip vs $550 for the trd pro grill. Starting to grow on me more but would still love the Pro grill :)

Nice, so it was as easy as just tapping off around the chrome and spraying it huh? Something I've been considering doing myself. Did you put any of the clear coat over it?

Yeh just tapped around the sides and sprayed away. No coating afterwards. Just washed it with some soap and water before hand.

Finally got around to properly adjusting the parking brake. What a PITA. I'm just glad it works now. Who knows why Toyota doesn't adjust these things out of the factory.
