Great post, I just purchased the 6112/5100 setup with +3 coachbuilder shackles, cant decide on a tire size or wheel, been on here looking at combo pics, really torn between 295/70/18 and 295/65/20. Don't want to have to do any cutting.

I wish I would of gone with the 295/70/18, but I have to get my small child in/out and we’re talking second child soon, which would be too tall. Down the road I’ll probably go with that size.

I am thinking about getting these rims with 295/70r18 Ridge Grappler's or Falken Wildpeaks. The +12 offset has me thinking I may need to drop down to 285/65r18 though to make them fit easier.

Here’s an angle to kind of show how far it sticks out with my set up.

Since I have the fender flares, that may be a perfect fit.

Duratrac's are nice but you'll feel the sidewalls when you tow. I've had them for 5 years now and I have them aired up to 45 psi too. 35" or 295/70/18 Toyo AT extreme or Cooper AT3 XLT here I come once the 10 year mark hits on the tires.

Nice Rims! ;) TRD center caps will make them look clean IMO.

Great writeup and review. Yours was one of the (several) posts that helped me decide on the same setup (mostly). Thanks for taking the time!

    Here's how I went:
Bilstein 6112 (PN BIL46206084) up front, top setting
Bilstein 5160 (PN BIL25237429) + Pro Comp Add a Leaf (PN EXP57096B5) in the rear
Revtek diff drop kit (PN REVRTDD3KB)
    Toyo Open Country AT2 295 70R18s
Spidertrax 1.25" spacers (PN SPIWHS023) to push out the stock wheels for my preferred look.

I also have the TRD sways front and rear. I agree the ride with this setup vs stock (SR5+TRD "Off road package") is superior. Its stiffer, but not jouncy (is that a word?). And it handles the mountain twisties wonderfully. Its no sports car, but this setup inspires the same confidence, kinda. I mean hell, you're still in a truck but I feel stuck to the road. Wife was in it with me all weekend and she agrees from the passenger seat; she said it feels stiffer than stock, but not less comfortable and gave it her thumbs up (and she's picky; she hated the ride in our 2500 Ram, and felt the seriously modified Raptor we had was awesome offroad, but rode like a boat on road). All in all I'd do this again tomorrow if this one disappeared.

Love these wheels, are they Hub centric?

Yes, I understood from the manufacturer that they are in fact hub centric.

Love your setup. I am attempting to achieve a look very similar. I see you went with the 295/70/18 tire size. Is there any rubbing and did you have to cut any trimming to prevent rubbing? I want to run 295/70/18 size tires with stock wheels as well. If you don't have any rubbing, I am wondering if the wheel spacers help to prevent rubbing.
