I was curious if anybody knew what the rattling noise would come from in the front end of the truck when you're driving under 10 mph .. I've looked underneath nothing feels loose .

Mines rattle free, even on desert washboard roads. Mine is still stock though. Maybe a wheel center cap is loose?

Is it a light metal rattle (brake pads?) or a clunking rattle (loose lug nuts?) Check shocks too.

OK so I could not figure out this rattling noise..I'm taking the truck to Toyota... then the other day I hear the squeaking noise couldn't figure it out for the life of me go to the front lightly spray down my suspension with white lithium grease . Still the noise will not go away .. Then today I go to the front of the truck pull on the Bull bar look underneath one little nut rubbing against the tow hook... making this huge ungodly awful sound I don't know if I am the bigger idiot or what.. So just putting it out there if you hear a squeaking noise in the front of your truck and you have a bull bar it could be some bolts touching underneath. The actual bull bar bolt was rubbing against the tow hook in the front in my case..
    Have a good one guys!

:help:It's like metal rattling like the can on your tire when you were a little kid riding a bicycle. The only way I could think of explaining.

The rattling part is not fixed but I had a separate squeaking noise issue and that happens to be the Bull bar.

It's brand new...let the dealer handle it. Sometimes these rattles can be like finding a needle in a haystack. You need at least two to help find it.
Did you get any video of this sound?

Hey . Antonio here . Im in delaware too. I bought mine back in july i think up in new castle, i can hear that noise, hard to describe, is coming from the front , ill say under the hood, maybe suspension noise, is like a pice of plastic rubbing against a piece of metal , it does it at slow speeds, and when getting close to a full stop. I've been trying hard to find this noise and i can't ! Ill check the front bumper bolts. I notices the other day the rear bumper chrome piece had bolts that weren't tight. We'll see.

 I pick my truck up from the Newark Dealer .. Your not far at all. Yes for sure check your bumper bolts that's all it was .. Or if you have a bull bar on the front it might be rubbing against the tow hook in the front I had that issue also .

I felt like an idiot the other day. Last weekend I was driving on a bunch of gravel roads, anytime I slowed down or when I first started moving, there was a horrendous rattle that I couldn't figure out. Was sitting the a McDonald's parking lot with my dad outside listening for it as I slowly drove back and forth when a rock fell out of my wheel.

Well . I put it up on the lift today after work. (Yeah my service manager let me use the shop and the lift, i work for a ford dealer i mess ALOT with them 7.3 6.0 6.4 6.7 diesels and i mess some with the 4.6 5.4 6.2 6.8 gas , and the ecoboosts, u figure why i dont buy fords hehe) anyway back to the point , Bumper bolts are tight as can be. The good news is i found the problem r h side heat shield manifold has 3 10 mm head bolts , 2 bolts weren't tight ! I jumped on the truck and asked another tech to play with the heatshield and yes that was the noise,, the bad news is while under the truck i was looking around , noticed left rear backing plate is bent and scratched up rim (on the inside) i bought this truck 2 months ago at price toyota new castle DE .truck is a 2015 5.7 trd/off rd, it had 7k when i bough it and carfax is clean. And they showed me the maintenance that was done at their dealer. No wheel or hub repair showing. So, removed the wheel. the rim holes have little damage. i can tell the studs have been replaced , Ill have to buy a wheel I dont feel like fighting with the dealer , pricing one now. Im happy with the truck. Drove from work to home noise is gone , tried to duplicate the noise , noise thank God is gone !

Good job congratulations I'm glad it was easy and inexpensive fix . On the other hand sorry to hear about the bent backing plate you found.

I dropped it off at the dealers yesterday to diagnose an annoying baby rattle metallic noise I kept hearing with the windows down. Noise was apparent only when making gradual right turns or curves between 20-40mph. I immediately assumed the worst, axle bearing, wheel bearing, or CV joint etc... mechanic duplicated noise after cruising around 8 miles. He found the grille on the right front side making contact with the bumper. After adjusting the bolts, no more noise. Good thing since I only have 54,800 miles on her. So, all of you check your grill mounting hardware. Thanks!
