Are all Dash Bezels/Cutouts/Radio locations the same 2007 - 2013?

I am replacing my 2007 JBL headunit this summer, and was not happy with how the Metra kits look. Too square. After searching a ton and with the help of ecm209 and his install, I like the look of the OEM bezel that is in his photo:

My question is, the part number I finally found says it is for 2010-2013 only. Is there any difference in mounting holes/dimensions/etc that would prevent me from putting a factory bezel from 2010+ into a 2007?

    Thank you.

That's interesting. Do you from the original post of the the two vertical pieces on either side of the radio face part of the mount? Or something that was added after the fact.

No difference that I am aware of. Have take kit from an 07 and put in a 13 so I think that makes them the same. There were differences in coloring maybe from year to year? Some were metallic painted, some were piano black. No idea the logic of that part.

@radon222, those pieces were added by the installer. They are "filler" panels that took up the gap left from the original radio. Probably from a Metra kit lol. I have something like that in my daily commuter when I put a AppleCarplay unit in, it didn't quite fill out the mounting kit, so they include a trim ring or trim panels to make it look complete.

Thanks Rubberdown, I appreciate the first hand confirmation. Bezel is $53ish, so not too bad.

I would be more concerned with the mounting questions. The stock radio has brackets that bolt to the dash. I believe the aftermarket radios get held by a dash kit. You would have to do some makin’ but you could do it I’m sure.

    working on upgrading the audio..
I may be wrong ( I have been before) but I was under the impression that the 1st and 2nd gen bezels' differed and were NOT interchangeable..
