Want an Install Thread??

Hello All,

I’m determined to find time in the coming weeks to install the following:

Bedslide with rails and additional bins

RetraxMX Pro Tonneau

KB Voodoo Max Modular Bed Rack

Pop and Lock (there’s already a great thread on this so I’ll omit that)

That said is there sufficient interest for me to do a detailed install thread for these? I’m happy to do it if you all think it’s worthwhile.

I did the pop and lock install where I bought the actuator on Amazon. Total Cost $20.00 for actuator and materials. Took me a little longer than normal since I'm pretty OCD about wiring and electronics. It works great.

Not going to lie, new to the whole truck world and MODs, no idea what any of this stuff is, what is a pop and lock?

 

Please do separate threads for each mod. It makes a difference when people are searching. Not having to weed through one thread for multiple topics. Thanks!

 

If you search on Amazon for pop & lock it'll come up with the actuator and wiring kit needed to lock your tailgate remotely when you lock your doors. It's about $110.00 If you buy just the actuator and wiring separately you can get everything for about $25.00

 

Oh wow there is so much things you can mod on your truck it’s crazy, but I got the SR it didn’t even come with the key fob to lock and unlock the cab doors.
