image.jpg so far ive added running boards, bed liner, 2 spit hard toneau cover, red tundra letters on the tailgate, and a trailer brake, yes the factory brake controller is totally ineffective. future mods-exhaust tip, and husky floor liners.

Are those Toyota accessory brushed aluminum running boards or what?
I did not know that the factory trailer brake control is not good.

i saw the running boards on a dbl cab that was on the dealer lot, ordered them from the dealer, they are all plastic or whatever material it is, they are strong, and no rust problems to deal with

and its a known fact that the factory brake controller is weak, basically does nothing, and from what ive read on the subject, toyota is ignoring it and says that it works as designed. it took me 10 minutes to hook up my tenoshka,

thx for the welcoming everyone, looking forward to driving this truck till the wheels fall off, or im too damn old to climb in it. Hopefully it is as reliable as the tacomas and 4runners we have and have had. love the truck so far, i think the tradeoff on gas mileage is well worth the comfort and increased capacity over the tacoma.

...this is exactly how I feel as well. I agree the trade off on gas milage is well worth the comfort and interior room (plus the throaty of the exhaust )....speaking from the experience of a former taco owner.

WTG. Do you lie to your Tundra and tell it that there is a 2 year wait for 11B's and it should take the supply job because it's a better field? I guess all of you don't lie all the time. It turned out alright. Dumped the 76 field for 55D had a hella of better time.
