Tundra Roll n Lock A Series

Hey Everyone,

I ordered a retractable cover and decided on the A Series from Roll n Lock. Install was easy just had to make sure to actually read every step. I think it looks great and used the factory rails. If anyone has questions let me know!

 

How much was that ? I need a new bed cover.

 

Great choice! I have the same tonneau.

 

Total was about $1,500 on Amazon, its more then most but the quality of the cover is amazing.

Are they really rare? I was about ready to remove all of it except for the rims lol

 

I've never seen one, and there are a ton of tundras in my area.
I'd leave the badges on..
or, a few at least.

 

hmm i didn't realize that i may just take off the front badge on the grill

 

First time I have seen a Tundra with xsp badge in this forum.Keep it on. Looks different. Different is sexy...

Very nice! I like the matte black finish. Wish they'd had that when I purchased my Retrax a few years ago.

 

i think the answer is yes from looking at the pics... but can you still use a bed rack over the top of this?

 

i dont believe you can as all the mounting points are covered

 

Is it noticeable how much cargo space the housing unit takes up?

Have been considering getting a roll n lock. It looks like the rail system is no longer usable with this cover. Is this true? Overall are they worth it and do they do good in the weather? Thanks

 

OP what's your thoughts on the A series after 1 year plus? Still happy with quality? Have been unable to locate for 2019 Tundras at this point. How is the maintenance on the product. Is drilling required?

And what @codyneedles said. Any issues with liners?

 

I can chime in and say I've had my Roll n Lock for 8-9 months and absolutely love it. My is a little banged up due to hauling crap, but the quality is great. I haven't preformed any maintenance on it, doesn't seem like it needs it. Therre is a small amount of drilling required to get the tracks in and I even drilled a small hole in the front in the plastic pieces cause they are easy to replace for the drain tubes.

In my opinion they are definitely worth the cost. I also got the cargo manager from roll n lock as I installed a air tank for my train horns in the back under the roll n lock, so I have taken up some of my cargo space.
