What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Haha I like ur style Ron. Assuming I love the new setup they will be going on the market. Rims, tires, and wheel spacers. Although I will say my buddy @Jim LE 1301 has 1st dibs on the spidertrax.

 

I am one week in...today I had step rails, bed liner, swing cases & bed LED strips installed. It was a good day.

 

Roger that my friend, if and when you decide to sell the wheels please add me to the long list if you don’t mind. Can’t wait to see the new wheels!

Tnx Tyler, yeah they're an awesome rim. The best thing about them, even besides how great they look and the better bead keeping technology is the weight savings. These things are light as hell which is huge for me and my application. I agree, if I did not have the flares I would've went +25. Even with I still almost did go +25 offset for fitting reasons. For once I went looks over function. I'm hoping that decision don't bite me in the ass.

For price, I shopped the hell out them just like I always do on everything, especially tires and wheels. I've done plenty of business with discount tire and they continue to earn my business. I'll always find the absolute best deal I can find and call them with it. They always seem to match or beat for me. They are my go to for both tires and wheels.

I wouldn't say I got an earth shattering deal of century, but I didnt expect that deal either since they're a brand new rim for 19. But, they did beat everywhere else I found them for sale. I looked at lot of other options less expensive but kept coming back to the weight savings. That, plus they're NON fake beadlock (very hard to find now) and I haven't seen anyone with them yet. Look good yet not over the top, non fake beadlock, and very light. To hit those 3 criteria theres actually not that many out there imo.

I missed a deal months ago on the vex for 4 of them for 379 shipped. Once I got over kicking myself in the ass for not buying them when I could, despite not having a 17" tire or need for them. I still almost bought them just because the deal and wish I had.

Ur good on the wheels, no list there. Those are gonna be 1st come 1st serve so no long list there. Just the wheel spacers I'm giving a pal first crack at them. On the wheels just keep an eye out over the next few weeks. Once u see the new rims and tires on, I'd say to start keeping a look out for the sale post. I'm going to keep it fair with everyone on rims and tires. Never know too, anything could happen on the spidertrax too between now and then, but I promised Jim 1st chance and I'm a man of my word. Doesn't necessarily mean it's set in stone though.

I like it, why not keep it? I'm partial to black, so it looks good. I put some black heatshrink on the shaft to black it out.

 

Mod yes, boots no. Just need bunch of boots for different scenarios at work. I'll admit the mod addiction, the boots I wouldn't say that. Depending on what job I'm doing at work will determine the boot I wear. That plus it don't hurt to have the option of what boot best suits your outside work too.

 

I don't know if I like this one or the TRD Pro one more...

@mgm16trdpro Man I read and loved every word of it. I was close on my own, but You've got me sold on the 313s, I'm not gonna look at another wheel. I'm tired of the researching, ha! And with no fender flares I'm gonna go with the +25. Leaning towards 295/70 or 285/75.

One last question, do they have NON fake beadlocks?

Hit those with a blow dryer and they'll fit even better. Since it was pretty cold when I installed mine that's what I had to do. Especially since they came in a box folded in half they had a nice crease in them. But all good now

Got some Kings 2.5 w/ resi's installed yesterday. Thanks to @Tacotundra for doing all the work. What a trooper, we ran into some major snags but James is a pro so he got everything buttoned up a little later than we thought but at least it's done. Thanks James!
