Could they not get the vinyl to wrap the whole silver portion of the steering wheel? Was wanting to do this as well but was worried abou the angles as well.

Nice pickup...Sorry for the ignorance but what's the use of this out of curiousity. There's been many other items on this forum that I didn't know that I really needed and was wondering if this was part of that list. LOL.

Just to keep the stuff in the bed organized. Every time I would go to Costco, I would have to jump on the bed to get all the stuff that shifted towards the front of the bed.

He could, but the roll that I bought on Amazon was not tall enough to run the brushed vertically to match the radio unit. I didn't think it all the way through, and the seam would have been dead smack in the middle of the trim piece. He offered to buy a 1 yard by 1 yard piece, but it was going to be $50, and cause further delays. After a week of my dash exposed with pieces of it all over the front, back, and bed, I was over it. He was all about it, but it was all me that nixxed it. In hind sight, the second the PD takes a hard hit from inside the cab and chips, I'm going to regret that decision.

BTW that piece is a complete asshole to get out.

I must have got lucky. I took the airbag assembly out, taped around the emblem, PD’d, and used a toothpick. Everything peeled off cleanly around and in between the emblem.

Not hard at all to align it straight. The directions use a wet method and you can sort of slide the vinyl around to position it before locking it down in place. Turned out pretty well for an overlay. I'm happy with the results.

U know guys, I've found honesty is the best policy. Better to just tell her upfront it never ends. Although I will admit, I did have my audio upgrades delivered to a friends house awhile back lol. Now I just respond, better this than drugs, hookers, ect. Tell her it could always be worse and to not shit on your 1 little bit of enjoyment u have left. Least that worked for me.
