Spent most of the day trying to dip the door trim and step bar. Everything looked great until I tried to remove the tape. It got completely screwed up. I'm glad I can laugh at these things.

The step bar is also jacked. Has bubbles. But it looks great from a distance.

Looks like a good spot. I need to find a permanent spot for mine. So far it's just sitting on the ash tray lol

Don't feel bad, mine got jacked from removing the tape as well. And the can of natural white is a warmer white than the rest of my truck. Maybe I should have bought a can of super white. Or Toyota white.

The entire underside of the window has come undone from the body, looks like it’s been replaced before and poorly

Might have had a single panel fixed glass that was replaced (poorly) with a tri-pane slider.

The l/p lights are still there. I’ll just dangle em over the plate... gotta have the vin ran to register it since it’s out of state. Going to have one of my police buddies
Do that. Then it’s get the temp. Emissions test it and I’m good. All the monitors are still set so should be a quick easy job

Hmmmn, I vote 'better edge tape'.

My neighbor has a "20/20" rule. Is fine with any results that look good... at 20mph orfrom 20 feet away.... o_O

I was waiting for someone to say that.
Still not 100% sure till the beds off. But it looks like the read of the frame might be slightly bent... but if that’s the Case it shouldn’t cost too much to have it pulled straight again... I’ll just have to beef up the frame back there to make up for any structural loss..

If it is bent the hitch is going bye bye.. (because well.. then it’s bent too) want to try and find the factory one because I believe those were class 4 hitches.

Never did get a call back from Firstgenoffroad.com. Amazing that a small company can afford to just ignore someone. I see him posting on Instagram. He's got time to dick around on social media but not to pick up the phone. :notsure:
