Have you tried WD40 on it? It helps with plastidip that's been on for a long time.

I didn't drill my rivets out. I took a dental pick and just lifted one side and then the other. It popped right off. Mine is headed off tomorrow for some updating

Lol, I’ve seen that and definitely would like to

I did drive around a bit looking for someone, fully aware I wouldn’t actually find them. I was pretty mad. Went off-roading a bit when I did though so that was fun

Got her shined up today. My guy even made the engine compartment shine. 5CD1963E-9A3E-445C-987C-5EF525FF4A20.jpg6AC4BCDB-7CB9-4590-BC84-9D9AB9B45DEF.jpg09AFFAF0-E8B5-42F3-8F1E-79484B7D9E41.jpg348F1FC4-4BF1-4B10-B3F7-7B42BCCC875E.jpg

Then planned to remove the chrome exhaust tip so I could install my new black chrome one. Spent an hour trying to get the :censored: thing off before I gave up. Seriously, how TF do you get the damn thing off? Any tips?

I got the clamp off, and got the tip loose from the inner ring, but I couldn't get it off of the pipe.

If you don’t have a heat source like a propane torch handy, might want to try bags of ice on the pipe to get it to contract some. I did that once on a splined inner axle end when it wouldn’t mesh with the diff gears during a reinstall. Just a thought to see if that might help.

I ended up just under $700, not including the $70 MIR for the SiriusXM module. Unfortunately I suck and didn't take pics during the install, so I don't have much for a write-up.

You have to pry it off from the back. The tip collapsed around the pipe, that part it wider. Just put a flat screwdriver or something like that and hit it in all around the pipe to uncollapse it from the clamp.
It will take time but that's the only way.

He wants the black TSS wheels? I'll let him know when I trade mine out, it'll probably be a few months.
