**SOLD - Fox 2.5 Coilovers (5k miles) w/hardware & Spanner Wrench

Selling a pair of Fox 2.5 IFP (0-2" lift) coilovers with only 5k miles on them. I'm located in Denver, so I'm hoping to sell to someone local for the time being but I'd consider shipping at the buyers expense. I'm including hardware : the lower & upper mounting bolts, lower shock mount spacer/bushings and spanner wrench ($60).

These shocks were installed right out of the box from Fox by a local shop here in Denver and I rode them for a few thousand miles. The shop didn't check the preload on the springs before they installed and I wound up with a ~3" lift, which is 1" too much for these shocks, so they need to be adjusted down. There are 29 threads showing on each shock. This caused my ride to be a little too stiff and when I explained this to Fox they decided to hook me up with 2.5 w/resis front and rears for an insane discount. Buyer will need to use the spanner wrench to adjust the collar higher on these shocks to lessen the preload and soften up the ride. It's my understanding that most Fox shocks come out of the box with too much preload and these adjustments need to be made in most cases.

These shocks are essentially brand new with a tiny bit of dirt that can be easily cleaned. I'm only really selling them because Fox gave me such a killer deal on 2.5s w/ resis. Please PM me if you have any questions.

Yea. Fox hooked it up and I don't know why! I got the 2.5 w/resi (non DSC) for $1,900. I'd have been stupid to turn that down.

I hadn't taken these shocks off the truck back when we spoke about the CL ad and I was trying to line up a buyer on on there. Had a few interested parties, but was just hard to sell when they're still on the vehicle. As soon as I got the new goods from Fox this past week and swapped everything out I listed them on here.

Yep. ridiculous price. I think they must have felt bad that a shop that sells Fox shocks charged me installation fees for the 2.5 IFPs and the lift/ride quality came out all wrong because they didn't check preload or even offer to make the lift height right.

Yea... I could have removed the shocks and adjusted them myself, but they offered me those 2.5 resis right out of the gate when I explained the situation, so I jumped right on that deal.

Yep! Been a crazy weekend up here. Nearly 3ft in 3 days made for some insane conditions.

 

I’m considering this offer first. I told @blandon I need to check cost for shipping to his zip. Haven’t had time since we’ve been up in the mountains this weekend. I imagine it’s going to be expensive to ship it to CT.

 

Are you in the Denver area? They’re not sold yet but I have someone in CT interested as you can see thru the thread. CT is prob gonna be expensive to get these to.

@blandon , it’s going to be $100 to ship cross country to you in CT. Package weighs 65lbs and I chose the cheapest option, UPS ground. Just took it to the UPS store to verify the weight and fees.

How about we split the shipping cost to help me offset those fees?

 

Checked the cost to ship to GA. It’s around $85. Ups ground.

Blandon’s Offer was $725 shipped, but that means my net cost would be $625 after shipping fees...$225 lower than my original asking price. Not terribly thrilled with that. This is why I asked him to split the shipping cost with me. If he agrees I’m obviously obligated to finalize the deal with him.

But if you can put a better offer in the thread I’m certainly willing to consider that too!
