Thule areoblade roof racks,Full Led conversion, rackarod lockable rod holders,Led bed lights,Lock'er down safe, 42" led light bar.......6112/5160 suspension lift Coachbuilder +3 shackles, shims and bushing set. Toyo open county AT2’s 295/65/20’s on stock black painted wheels..........
image.jpg Received my 6112/5160 combo yesterday!!! Now just waiting on my CB +3 shackles and 3 shims "2 on driver side and one on passenger side"
Also doing the supreme diff drop kit. All should be here before Saturday!!!
Any input on this upgrade would be appreciated. Going to be running stock 20" platinum wheels powdercoated black. As for tires still up in the air, but was leaning towards 285/65/20 size wise but not sure which brand yet.

Are those 5100 shocks that you'll be putting on the top setting?

    Check out 295-65-20 or 295-60-20.

Toyo tires are hard to beat IMO.
    Especially the AT2 Xtreme.

I definitely will thanks, I don't mind trimming the skid plate and removing mud guards but don't want to get into chopping mounts or changing out UCA right now.

I got a 2015 Platinum and I sure would like to see your Truck when its all finished. The setting on the 6112's, total height from top of truck to ground. Did you have any difficulty with the installation?

Ditto on the toyo AT2's. Got the at2 (non extreme) on my truck. Rides GREAT. Doubt I'll be switching anytime soon!

Stuck on what will fit, getting ready to install the lift soon. Any one running 295/65/20 on platinum wheels and just the 6112/5160 and +3 CB shackles and 3 shims 2 on drivers side 1 on passenger side Would I need spacers or just minor trimming.
This is what is holding me up. LOL

The plan was to replace the chrome hubcaps that came with the truck. To these platinum wheels in black. 20x8 with a +60 offset I believe from the 1000's of pages I read on multiple forums, and I'm still confused lol

Ok update, ordered bora 1.25" wheel spacers just in case I need a little more clearance for the stock UCA's. Want to have it on hand so after the lift is installed I can go get the wheels and tires put on.

You'd definitely need spacers. Get no less than 1.25 that would be equivalent to about 18-25 (ballpark) offset if I'm not mistaken. 60 offset is the most offset you'd see on a wheel.

Almost went with 1 1/2 but thought that would be to much, and it seemed like most guys running oem wheels setup go with the 1.25's Glad I ordered them now thanks for the input. Real noob when it comes to trucks, never thought I'll ever lift I vehicle lol usually I'm lowering lowering my vehicles :)

So do you think I'll have any issues fitting 295/65/20's?

    Not a one
My brother in law has a TSS and 295/60r20 wheels with 50 offset (I think that's the offset on tss wheels anyways) and no issues whatsoever

Hell, I'm still a noob! First mods I EVER did to any one of my trucks was done a couple months ago!! Before that, I studied and did research on damn near every thread on the net LOL learning something new every day!!
Even did the level lift myself, only to find out spacer lifts really aren't a good idea. Therefore, saving up to get the BOSS suspension. After that, wheels (haven't decided whether to wait until I need new tires again to take advantage of the package deal) then step bars. Slowly but surely brother!!

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Ok after countless weeks of second guessing everything, I can finally say the lift has been installed!!! Spent all day Friday with my buddy in the driveway installing the +3 CB shackles, leaf spring bushings, carrier bearing drop, and 6112/5160 combo. 2 CB shims on driver side and one one passenger side. Also got the 1.25 bora spacers on. 6112's on top setting
Boy were those leaf spring bushings were a PITA!!!

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Haven't got measurements after wheels and tires installed yet.

    20x8 platinum wheels
    Toyo open country AT2
    295/65/20

Rubs at full chock going forward
But in reverse rubs a lot at less the half chock.
Got a lot of plastic manipulation to do. :)

Have the body mount chop plate, will do the mod if needed.
Next will be the trd pro grill and off with the rest of the chrome!!!!!!!

your thread actually just sent me outside to measure what my ground to fender measurements were :p.
if you measure from the center of the hub to fender instead of from the ground you get a true representation of the gains on a lift considering you probably gain 3/4" just on tire tread alone going from the ground.
also, i know you were trying to avoid new uca's and your alignment numbers will tell you the important info but visually i think you managed to do it. the uca's on my tacoma were waaay steeper on a 3" lift than yours appear.
it all looks really great man!

Just remove your mud flaps and trim the liner up front and you should be good. Looks great

Thanks, that's what I was hoping. Don't really want to bring it to a shop and chop the mount.

Of course when I picked up the truck from NTB they didn't give me the alignment sheet, was so excited about getting the truck back forgot all about it. The UCA's angle didn't look to bad but billets one would look pretty Kool under there lol :)
Wish I did measure it like you mentioned, that way I'll know how much height I really got.
