My 2017 CM is on a 5" lift with 35x12.5/18, I am trying to see what the biggest wheel and tire I can install in my current spare tire slot before I look into a tire mount for my bed?

I have read in other threads that 35's can fit in the spare tire well if you cut off or grind off the tabs, but also make sure the rim on the spare can be used to lift it in the space. My spare has Fuel rims and it wont balance well enough to get in there so it sits in the bed till i can find a mount for it...
