I've been trying to narrow down a lift for my truck and I'm now going into the 3rd week of trying to speak with the people at FirstGenOffroad. I've left multiple voicemails. Not calling back potential customers is an interesting business model. o_O

Nothing on the unit. Just power, light and jumpstart. Looked through the manual (which is in english btw), and there's nothing there. Cant even find the unit online, nevermind instructions...

The VW looked like a big ice cube this morning and I had nothing to scrape the frozen windshield with, so I drove the Tundra to work.

Mine were made without lift, I reused my OEM shackles. The alcan springs came with poly bushings and sleeves at each end and fit right in place if you use the OEM shackles. No need to even remove the shackle from the hanger

Contact @Roman at Toyota of Cool Springs, he is very responsive and has the best prices even with shipping. Go OEM on all parts, they are well built and hold better than most of the aftermarket stuff

Day 4 of injector upgrade: Put about 20 straight highway and 20 twisty country road miles on the 02’. Still performing nicely as reported in previous days posts. Its becoming obviously clear, compared to before, it seems to always be in the proper gear now and when the power is needed there is no hesitation. Country twisty roads driving was fun. Eye on the gas needle looks like its always been, but will know more by end of week calculation.

Did notice yesterday and today a slight hesitation during start up by a 1/4 to 1/2 second compared to before. Might be the cold dreary weather?

Snake clamps on the power steering hoses stopped the slight leak at the reservoir. Will check on the slight motor oil leak at/over the oil pan some more over the next few days. Its hard to see due to the front frame being in the way when looking from underneath and the belt and alternator in the way from looking down from top.

Thinking its the Mobil 1 Synthetic conversion switch plus the Liqui-moly purge has cleaned the engine sludge out revealing weakness in the gaskets on front on enging? That last oil change at 2500 miles looked dark and from readings the Full Synthetic first oil change is like this due to its cleaning nature.

That's annoying. I would've expected good things from them. I'm not sure who's got experience with them or think of them, but I'm thinking of going to Filthy Motorsports for mine. Really good YouTube videos they put out too. But they mostly do King shocks. What are you looking at going with?

I'm not seeing that. I must be missing it.

I don't have the original springs so I had ruled those out.

Toytec boss is what I run. Fully adjustable pre assembled coilovers. Cheaper than the big name coil overs, but non rebuildable.

I'd like to see someone try the 6110 bilsteins and coils out on an AC.

The BOSS kit is the one I linked. That's what I'm looking at.

What kind of lifespan would one expect from the coilovers?

How does the adjustment work. Can it be done while installed?

That is kinda where I’m at, but I know on Tacomaworld eibach springs were pretty popular back when I had a Tacoma.

I've had mine install for about 2.5 months and I like em. I didn't bother adjusting em because they're perfectly level as they came with my 1.5 inch progressive AAL. I think you can adjust them while installed but I'm not sure. I imagine at some point I'll have to adjust for driver side lean and once I buy a bumper and winch (at least until I upgrade to 700lb coils). Your average shocks should last between 60-100k road miles. Not sure about these since they will be off roaded sometimes.

It's worth mentioning that you will want to install the bump stop spacers that come with the coils so not to bottom out the shock and void the warranty. I decided to just upgrade to superbumps instead.

I know that running synth in my SHO is a no-no. With higher mileage the thinner oil can leak past older, harder seals and gaskets.
