The one I hydrodipped is the factory tundra trd pro shifter. I'll be selling that one soon, if u or anyone else is interested. It can be used as is or the dip can be removed revealing the factory shifter.

The other less long but fatter, is also a trd pro shifter, but this 1 is for a tocoma. It can be bought from dealers, ebay, Amazon, ect. It's not exactly plug and play since it's much shorter. If just put on you would have the long skinny shifter stick with this on top, probably looking a bit awkward imo. That's where the boot comes in. U will lose the lighted shift indicator by covering it but I'm willing to sacrifice that since I'm pretty confident I can shift it where I want based on memory and the dash screen to confirm. To get the boot to fit u will have to cut off the white outer plastic off bottom of the shifter where my thumb is, so it can slide all the way up.
    20190127_203419.jpg
The red trd lettering I also added.
I'm hoping to be done with it all this weekend and will post pics in my build thread. In summary it can be done, its not exactly hard, it just requires a bit more work to make it work than just unscrew the old and screw on the new.

Tnx brother, I can't promise to remember to post the pics here since even my original post was meant for a different thread. But I'll definitely post them up in my build which is my screen name. Definitely there and maybe what did you do to your 3rd gen today thread.

Man I just found a 2015 TRD pro 30 miles away from me with only 36,000 miles on it. Really tempted to trade my 2017 TRD off road for it

Camburg uniball uca, Coachbuilder spacer & shackles, and steering kit, Cooper AT3 XLT 295 70, SCS Ray 10.
Ride has improved by preloading the mushy pro shocks with spacer and using super bumps with 1/4 spacer. Removing the sway bar has unlocked the front end and allows the new uca to perform. The new bump stops engage earlier and have drastically reduced the side to side wobble. After some extensive research on tire choice I decided on the Coopers, the primary factor being 9lb weight savings over the Ridge Grappler.
My next decision to rationalize was spare tire. After some thought I decided to ditch the spare altogether and carry plug kit with Smittybuilt HD compressor. Why? Did not want to hack up factory spare location, and wanted to save weight and money. The compressor and good plug kit was cheaper than another tire and wheel by far and did not want to contend with matching offset and tire size on the cheap.

Thx Watt, ur rig is very inspiring. Oh and I only have 8k miles and use MX3 Inox for protecting under carriage metal and rubber. Anyone who lives in snow belt should use this for salt protection.

Shout to @Coachbuilder1, David is a great guy to talk to and will go out of his way to help u with any questions. I pay close attention to fit and finish of products and I am they are second to none. Anodizing is top notch. Also, highly recommend their steering kit. Anyone with 34s and up will appreciate factory steering feel with larger tires and significant reduction in bump steer.

Toyo AT2 extreme 295/70R18. I really love how they look.

Edit: It has the stock lift for a TRD Pro. I "think" 2 inches.

Here's mine. I don't know why I bought a Pro, everything that is Pro related has been removed and replaced. I should of bought a Platinum trim. But the TRD PRO stamping on the bed is cool!
