I went with the Rigid D series D2 fog mounts. That’s what started it all for me. I love them. They’re insanely bright.
I didn’t need a dedicated fog light here in Texas so I just got the brightest lights I could get.

My only question of the two diff fog lights is which one is plug and play as I dont want to cut any wires. I do know about rigged company. They sell those at 4wheel parts. Yes I agree that rigged are great lights. I ordered the 9003/hr. I'll wait til I get off thos rig to buy the fogs

K I talked to th he guys at 4wheel parts about those fogs your using. They said we cannot use them during driving because they are too bright and also are only allowed to use one bulb in there. But I agree they are awesome lights. So that's out for me. But my other headlights arrive tomorrow so tomorrow night I'll post up pics of them.

Anyone try the Nova v4 in a Sequoia? I have a 2013. Not sure if the reflector pattern is the same as a Tundra.

Thanks for this info as I’ve recently installed the (9006) SuperNovs Perfect Fit bulbs in my 02’ Tundra fogs. They are very nice and fill that lighting gap up front and to the sides way better than the halogens.

I like the quality of these SuperNovas and have me wondering about the switch over to LED for the headlamps. The 02’ has DTR requiring (9003 bulbs).

I wasn’t too worried about the (potential) over brightness involved with the fogs assy due to their lower mounting and inherent design downward and to the sides. They are great.

The headlight assys are a different story and have me doubting the over brightness possibility due to being a higher vehicle. Need feedback before pulling the trigger on $180 bulbs. I know they are quality, but do not want to blind people.

Ok so long story short. I half ass read the thread, googled supernova v4 bulbs and made a purchase. However when they arrived I noticed they look different than what I saw on here. So I start looking at the thread and noticed HR was where you guys bought them. Then I notice that HR made a video about the company I got them from saying they arent the same and they are trying to trick people. Well I email the company asking for a refund on the knock offs and this is the response i got. What do you guys think?? Their website says they have been making bulbs since 2008.

Interesting. At least they’re offering the refund so easily.
I’d try them out, if you are satisfied then keep them. If not, then go forward with the refund.

If it makes any difference I’m still a huge fan of these bulbs.

In what way do they look different? How are they performing installed? Or, are they still in the box?

If they are the same bulb at half the price direct from manufacturer, then put them in!
