DECALS on BLACK TUNDRAS

Hey guys!
If you have a (2014+) Black Tundra, and have some sort of after market decal, post a photo up! I need some inspiration for the ideas floating around in my head (specifically the rear side of the bed). Hard to know how they would look without seeing other applications first hand.

I am specifically interested in the 'Vintage' Toyota decals. Just not sure which options would look good layered on black.

 

That's cool.
What about a flat black, grey or silver.
But those colors would look cool on black.

I added black inserts to the indented Tundra letters at the back and it looks like I did nothing lol

 

Yeah, I didnt know if a matte black would even show up. That was my first thought. Like a flat black horizontal decal near the rear of the bed.

Reflective black......he did something like that for me. For another car I have.

FYI, I'm not taking any orders under $200 at the moment and I'm charging full shop labor rate of 85/hr for any time spent with communication, design, production, and shipping. Just to save myself from wasting any time on smaller jobs. The overhead is growing and I have all new equipment coming, but 40$ decals are not going to make even close to the payment. Unfortunately for all you guys, I just have to keep my focus on growth.

 

I may or may not start doing stuff again in the future. But right now, it doesn't look like anytime soon. I might have to pull out of vendor status unfortunately.

 

Just out of curiosity, what is your bread and butter in the decal industry?

 

Fleet graphics! Things like UPS and FedEx. I don't have those two accounts but those are the types of jobs I'm after. I have one fleet of 220 - passenger vans that just completely rebranded their company.

 

Wow, sounds like a sticky business!

 

Good on you man to know when to refocus and not overstretch or over promise.

There was someone on here a while back who had designed several he was trying to choose from. I don’t know if he ever updated on what he went with, but his ideas were pretty badass.
