I’ve been lurking for awhile. I’m still deciding when/if to get a tundra. I appreciate the knowledge on the forum.

I’m leaning towards an SR5 DC 4x4 but still not sure.

    Thank,

    Brandon

    If? Yes

SR5 DC 4x4? OK, just make sure it’s white

White is what I’d like with the center console and heated seats. From what I’ve seen that means I’d need a TRD package on the SR5 or upgrade to a higher trim level. I could be wrong.

I prefer the look, visibility, and bed size of the DC, but everyone with a CM seems to rave about it.

I vote 'yes'! For a really fun experience, you could tell us what else your considering, so we can bash that alternative. That's not all we do here, but it will definitely get things going.

A little of this and a little of that.
I like the crewmax, personally. But if you like the DC get it...

I have a DC and love it. Adults fit fine in the back seat (plus, you don't need to ride back there.) The back seat is comparable to or bigger than back seats of other trucks. Or you can miss out on bedspace to get a CM and have room enough to do yoga on the back seat floor board. But unless you need it for yoga, you don't need it.

SR5 DC 4x4 is a versatile choice. Personally, I like having the extra cargo space in the bed.

That ^ could be my post. I like the extra bed space. And my Japanese motorcycles love it when I haul them in the bed and not on the trailer.

Everyone with a DC raves about the bed space...heh...heh. The SR5 is ideal if you like DIY. You can add seat heaters yourself for example.

If you have kids, go with a white crewmax. It is so much easier getting small kids in/out of the crewmax plus they cant push on the back of the front seats with their feet.

If you value bed space over cab space, go with a white double cab.

Either way, Tundra is always the right answer.

I do like DIY and have started looking at the leather/heated seat upgrades for when I get one. I did that on my old F-250 and it's time consuming but pretty easy if you are handy. I still have a bunch of hog rings and the pliers, too.

Anyway, I do value the bed space more since my kids rarely ride in my vehicle. We have a minivan for any major family adventures.

There a few posts here where a few members have done the DIY seat heaters.
