Are there any other fuses that could control the taillights besides the one labeled tail lights?

I'm not positive. But check anything remotely related. Check the ones under the driver kick. I have a fuse tester that lights up if the fuse is good so I don’t have to pull them out to check.

I checked every fuse under the hood all looked good I'm about to go check every single one under the dash. I already confirmed the one labeled tailight under the dash is not burnt and I still swapped it for a new fuse still no juice.

Checked every fuse in the truck every fuse is good. The tailights work powered off of 12 volts so it's not the tailights. The wire that goes to the tailights has no juice. There is no crossion on the plugs. The brake lights, blinkers and drls headlights ECT work trail plug works.
I'm getting to the point I might cut the tailight wires and wire it to the trailer plug harness.

Give a push on all the relays in the fuse box under the hood, worth a try. Have you done ANYTHING electrical lately? *Grasping at straws*

Under warranty still? I guess it's too late for that since you cut the wires already.
So you're saying you 1) confirmed you have power at the fuse? 2) hooked lights directly to 12v and they work?
Have you done any work at all to the truck? The issue would have to be with the wire between the fuse and the light. Must be pinched , cut, corroded.

    182k way past warranty.
    Fuse has power
Tailights work from a 12volt power source.
Ohm meter doesn't show anything for the tailights wire.
No work done to the truck recently.
    Tailights worked fine last night.
I agree there must be a wire pinched or corroded somewhere in the line.
But my trucks way to caked in snow to see shit right now and I'm out of town so there's no where to thaw it out tonight.

Sorry man that sucks. I wonder if the snow or ice has something to do with it. Living in new England I can sympathize with you on winter car repairs. It suck just being so cold never mind dealing with snow, ice, sand a salt all over the place

Just so we’re clear, not one light will light up on the tail lights? No turn signal, no running lights, no reverse lights, no brake lights?

I guess it must be hidden in his explanation, it wasn’t clear to me whether it was completely dead or just one function, all I noticed was tail lights not working. To me that sounds like none of it is working.

I'm still working on my morning coffee.

After looking at that pdf it tells me that the tailights fuse controls the trailer tail lights also but if does not because my trailer tails work fine.
I checked every fuse with a tester every single one checked out fine and I went over ever fuse more than once.

Turn, reverse and brake work just no running lights hence no tailights sorry if it wasn't clear I was pretty pissed and cold last night.

    Yes just no tail.

I just go this rig home lol.
Yeah just no tail/running light whatever you want to call it.

No power to the taillight wire that is my issue here and I can't seem to figure out what the hell happened.

OK so if the trailer harness is working and it’s on the same fuses as the tail lights, I think that narrows it down to something going on at the rear of the truck. Am I wrong? My next thought would be, does the trailer harness run all the way up to the fuse box or does it splice into the tail light wires at some point on its way to the rear of the truck.

I'm almost a full pot in, almost time to temper that a bloody Mary. I could be totally wrong but I think the headlight switch is the culprit. If brakes and turns work but no tails and now no fogs, all of that is contained in this one multi-function switch. s-l300.jpg
