Installed power fold mirrors today and although they function well I thought how much nicer the mod would be with the auto fold function found in many other vehicles. Not really interested in building a relay set up from scratch. Wondering if anyone has had any success doing this to their Power fold mirrors.

    TIA!

Are you looking for them to auto-fold on park or lock?

I would love to be able to do that on my Limited, but it doesn't have the option. Drive thru ATM's at the bank would be soooo much easier!

I've got a 2017. Now I'm curious....I was pretty sure my passenger seat was power.

hmmm...maybe it was a 2016 I looked and the wife said "NO" because of the lack of power passenger seat. I didnt double check, just took her word for it.

Yes it was a must do for me. Have a supercharged 2010 with power folding installed. Found it extremely helpful in many situations of daily driving.

Jealous of your power folding mirrors, but not as much as your supercharger! I'm so tempted to add one (Magnuson), but have heard issues on the Flex Fuel Vehicles which is what I have.

Curious as well. I love my power fold mirrors, I also installed a small LED light to illuminate the mirror controls. I would love to have them fold up when I park and fold out when I put in drive or reverse, lock and unlock would be okay as well.

Yes led interior lighting is on my list.

I specifically had to go out of area to locate a non FF vehicle in my color for the specific reason of going blown whenever they get a freakin tune worked out.

I used an LED "bolt light" wired to illuminate when dash lights turn on. Was too bright so I just wrapped it in electrical tape and cut a tiny told for light to peek through

never understood why toyota only illuminated SOME of the buttons in that area. Also the drivers side door controls (only 1 window switch is lit if I remember correctly). Light them all Toyota! Come on....Light them all.

Both front window switches are lit, but when you push the window lock button, the light on the passenger switch turns off.

Kind of off subject, when did power fold mirrors come out? I have a 2007 that I would love to have them on. Don't know if its backwards compatible with a 2013 or not.

My 2nd Gen 2010 has them too. Offered by both A1 Auto and Toyota. In fact the switch and mounting is the same however a few features are different.

So I'd need the correct wiring obviously, I pulled the tweeters in my 07 TSS and saw the mirror wires, and there are a ton of them, so I am hoping I have the wiring.

You will need to run additional wires. Do a search and you will find a ton of info.
