Hahaha, right now all the energy is directed at getting the bumper covers all ready to go, but after that we're definitely going to do the Grille Surround and Hood Bulge! The original plan was to do them all at once, but as soon as we started getting into it we had some other areas of the business expand so we had to spread the love. The sales manager for the local Toyota dealership wants the bumper covers and grille surround for his truck, so he's lending us his truck to start making molds for the grille.

Not yet. I should start to get an idea of the time frame when we've got the female mold started. @bigzrs01

The pictures you put on here of the finished product in gloss white (super white version) look awesome. I can't wait for the group buy.

Admittedly, I have ZERO patience. I am itching to get rid of this chrome on the front bumper!

At least three times in the last few weeks I have had my finger on the “check out now” button on sparksparts.com to buy the OE bumper caps, painted....

Did I say my patience sucks?

I have been doing the same thing. Only reason I haven't pulled the trigger at sparks is the talk of a group buy for this product.

I’m thinking the same thing. I think it may be a while before bumpershelzz releases these and with all the colors we need. How difficult is the actual removal of the chrome caps and reinstall of color matched front caps? Looks like you have to remove the middle cover and plastic above the bumpers?

I haven't tried it but read on this forum that removal of the caps is a total PITA, so much so that I have been convinced it is something I don't want to do. So I wait.......................

Sparks sells painted covers that goes over the top of your chrome caps. They are held on by 3m tape and bolts.

They don’t sell just the front caps- you have to buy the 4 piece front and rear set, and the sensor holes aren’t cut out either.

I have done it on my truck. You have to remove the grill, inside the fender wells (broke those plastic clips, cost me about 80 bucks on replacement), the pieces below the head lights, and of course the sensors if you have them and fog lights. You also have to remove the trim plate below the grill. It takes some time. There is some stupid piece below each of the front bumpers that holds a bolt, make sure you pay attention or take pics of where that goes. It wasn't the worst thing I have ever tried, but it was not much fun. Just be patient.

This is why Bumpershellz is making the COVERS. So you don't have to deal with all that bullshit.

Sorry for the lack of definitive dates guys! To give you an idea of exactly where we are at right now, we are restructuring a big part of our manufacturing process to make sure we can keep up with demand. We weren't initially planning on that. Interest from you guys and our distributors has gotten to the point where our typical process won't be able to do it. From our perspective, we want to shorten as much as possible the time between you guys ordering and when you actually get the product. It won't be more than a month before we have these ready to go. You guys are our priority, so we will make sure all of you get to place orders before we start selling them to our distributors. If you guys can't stand waiting, then there are absolutely no hard feelings if you decide to go a different route. We just want to make sure our product is at its highest quality, and we can fulfill our promises when we release these.
