Which coil over manufacturer would give me the most front lift on my truck?

    Mid-travel? Long travel?

How much lift do you want?

I'm not sure that coil overs alone would be the best move, I'd invest in some shocks to go with them if you haven't already.

I just heard yesterday that the Toytec show truck which is driven alot by the owner has his Toytec Boss coilovers set up at 4" front lift. He has ~1" down travel remaining.
Your standard 3" lift Icons and Kings should go up to 4" as well. Typically all 3 show a max height of 3.5".
The problems start occurring with your OEM components. Wheel bearings, steering tie rod ends, cv axles, etc are stressed more and can have premature wear. New UCA's would be needed to go above 3" to get that extra down travel needed for the height as well as get your alignment in spec.

4" and taller you should go with a drop bracket lift like zone, BDS, procomp, fabtec, etc. These have spacers for the smaller coilovers but you could upgrade to full length coilovers as well.

@csuviper covered your question. Sorry, I was a little bowed up today.

So have you made a decision on a lift then?

I appreciate the input. I think 3" to 3 1/2" will be plenty of lift. If UCAs will bring the truck into alignment will be installed as well. Besides UCAs do I need to consider anything else if I stay in the 3/3 1/2 range? Toytec Boss will probably win out. I've read nothing but good things about the product.I like the fact that they work on Toyota products only. Lastly if the extra 1/2" will cause future OEM part problems, then I'll not do that. I plan on having this truck for a long time, and want to build making good decisions. I value all of the advice.
    Thanks.

She was probably at home. If we were at my house, the shocks would have been in the vise and not on some washer and dryer. I just shook my head and said "let's do this" lol

TC long travel. Deaver 420 SU leaf packs.
The more you crank up the coilovers, the harsher the ride. Different coilovers offer different spring rates too, usually 600 or 700 lbs. You can add coach builder shims to get a little height without cranking quite as much but you loose a little travel. A .25" shim gives .5" of lift and you loose the .25" in travel. Also, I've read: Kings 3.25", Fox 3", ADS 4".... just what I've found on the web. I'm installing the ADS with one CB shim on the passenger side and two on the driver side to counteract the Tundra lean. As mentioned above, you'll need the dif drop and probably a carrier bearing drop. IMO the rear should be lifted with shackles not blocks. Coach builder and Toytech both offer them.

I decided this morning to go grouse hunting instead.

16tunterd is spot on. New UCA's are really a must too to complete the setup for optimal performance and alignment. Something I still need to do.

I got zero grouse for the first time and got soaking wet. Going back up tomorrow. Isn't insanity doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result and I know for a fact tomorrows weather is supposed to be the same????

We ran down for a shake down run tonight on Independence Trail. Quick run.

Amazing that some trails make 40" tires feel like 31s
