Where to put a relay under the hood

    hey folks. Would like to put one or two relays under the hood. I AM NOT BUYING A SPOD thing so don’t say it! Just a standard automotive relay.

    Where have you folks hid your relays so they look good under hood? I think stuff looks like crap mounted to the fuae cover but really that’s the only place I can come up with. I guess I could mount it on the underside of the cover. It fits. Someone shock me with a brilliant idea!

    TC long travel. Deaver 420 SU leaf packs.
    I had relays mounted a little farther back, closer to the fire wall, than the photo Ron (@NewImprovedRon) posted. I had 2 on the driver side and one on the passenger side. I'm not a fan of mounting on the fuse box cover either. You can hide wiring (even a ground bus) under the side trim. Note: the side trim is removed by sliding it toward the engine.

    Here’s what I did.

    Made an off set mounting bracket to clear the hood strut and maintain access to the factory fuse box.

    Running (5) circuits through the auxiliary fuse box.
