    Haha i have a fanny pack for woods riding! I hate it! Somewhere I have a small bag for like a spark plug, cell phone, and a pair of keys that is meant to strap to a bar pad, it gets the job done.

    I don't trust anyone anymore, when I'm on the track now I lock my truck up and everything, nothing but my triangle stand is left out (stands, canopy, tools, gas cans, pressure washer, food) like years ago.
    If I ever get back into it consistently i will be picking up and enclosed trailer.
    People with sticky fingers....

    I always purchased race pants with pockets in the thigh area for trail riding. I could even put a subcompact pistol in there. However, I would usually just use a backpack due to the pockets filled with anything was uncomfortable.

    Today I use a portable pistol safe with the cable. I can put everything inside, lock it, and use the combo to get everything back out. I still have to carry keys though.

    Race tracks can be a sticky finger convention for sure. Most I ever lost was a few race fuel cans. A cable lock fixed that problem.

    I miss the keypad on my Ford too. I used it a lot for boating, hiking, and hunting. I now have the chipless key to take on the boat and I guess I'll hide it for hiking/hunting. I felt the keypad was a safety feature for when I was in the outdoors with a group. I always knew that if I got split from the group, they/I could get in the truck and start it to stay warm, etc. Plus I didn't have to worry about losing my keys in the middle of BFE.

    A simple solution I've been using for over 40 years, long before there were door lock keypads or even power door locks. Take the key and hide it under a rock within 100' of your rig. We did this when hunting as a group. Each would go their separate way but whoever returned to the truck first could get in. Have never seen a trailhead or place where some variant of this could not be used.

    I had a keypad on my Titan and really miss it. I keep looking for one like it for my Tundra (and wife's Sequoia) but have completely struck out. The one I had was OEM Nissan. It was battery operated and required no wiring. It programed just like a factory keyfob and stuck on the outside of the truck with 3M tape. Worked great for 7 years. Why can't someone make this for every vehicle with a keyfob?

    It would be interesting to know how many of the Chicago and Detroit and D.C. street thugs killing each other are members of the NRA or even follow NRA guidelines for safety. Those cities also happen to have some of the toughest gun laws in the nation, BTW. But yeah, I'm sure its the NRA's fault.
