I’ve posted this before, but I don’t care: if it looks like this, my wallet is about to get a lot lighter:

I asked my dealer about this very thing. He mentioned that it's so they can sticker the MPG favorably. This dealership upgraded a lot of Sports/Off Roads with wheels/tires, but not the PRO :(

I’d like to see the Lexus 5.0 v8 in the next gen tundra. City mpg will always be bad in a truck, but I’d like to get over 20 on the highway instead of maybe 15

It’s already been announced that a “new” Tacoma is being presented at the show. Doubt there’s much or anything on the Tundra this year.

Taco is just another mid cycle refresh, you can tell from the pics posted above its not all new. My guess is they will finally add some items that its lacking when compared to the competition so they can try and hold onto the sales lead. The platform still needs a complete redesign but I'm guessing not until 2021

I can't see them adding the tundra front when they just redesigned the sequioa headlights, it would be cool though and give it a tougher look.

I love my TRD sport sequoia...might have to take a look at the pro.
It’ll be 62-64k MSRP tho easily, since my sport was 59k MSRP.
I can only imagine they waited to see what the response was for the 18/19 TRD sport sequoia and they did better than they thought so decided to pro it up...the parts will easily transfer over from the tundra to the sequoia so Toyota said why not give it a go:D:thumbsup:

If they change the headlights good luck getting a set of the 2019s for my 2nd gen. They will be so rare and expensive :(

I am also very very pleased with the 5.7L. I hope they upgrade it in the next gen due to it probably being the best gasser I have towed with and had in a truck to date.

LOL!! Yep! Mine too! It's really hard to believe they have kept the same grille for so long.

That’s definitely a platform for “The all new Tacoma”. You can see where they are setting up the ramps for that partially covered Tacoma to drive up on it... I only wish it was “The all new Tundra”

Would have liked to see the new Tundra front end on it, but it looks decent.

I wonder if the Rigid fog light kit for these will fit a gen 2 Tundra? That would be cool for guys with the gen 2 trucks.

    Interesting...
    push button start
    360 cameras
    Apple car play
    Better color choices
Looks like the 2020 Tundra Pro just got a little more intriguing

Toyota really dropped the ball on these 'new' releases. The Sequoia is too big with IRS and is ancient, and the Tacoma desperately needs a new powertrain option.

Why would it be a Sequoia? That is literally the least capable truck/suv for offroading that Toyota makes. Thing is HUGE. Makes no sense at all for them to try to market it as an offroad platform at this point.
