So, I called King this morning and they told me they ship the front shocks charged at 125psi, and the rears at 90psi. From the couple posts I've seen, that sounds low/soft, but I really don't know any better. What pressures are you guys running?

Am I also correct in assuming that I can just purchase the charging manifold from King and fill using any nitrogen tire shops airline (assuming the pressure is enough, and I'm at full droop)?

    Shipping pressure.

Mine were shipped with zero pressure.

    125-150 psi is normal.

N2deep brought up a good point that I should cover.

    2.0 shocks are 125-150 psi

2.5 shocks are normally 180-200 psi.

150 in a 2.5 can cause cavitation depending on use. I run slow stuff, so not as big of an issue.

Now what @n2deep runs, this is critical. Good point.

I need to check mine just to see where they are at. I would like to do it myself as well. Any recommendations on what to use?

Thanks. I’ll look it up. Love this forum for all the DIY info and help. It’s much appreciated. So much money saved on labor costs so I can put more mods onto truck. Good to know too while on a trail and something goes wrong.

Thanks for the help! They’re 2.5’s, and 125 sounded low, just wasn’t sure how low. Are you guys running the same pressure in the front and rear, or less in the rear?

Run the same on all corners.

Sorry mine are 2.5's for now :D When King rebuilt them in the field he charged them at 200psi even though the endcap said 150psi. I backed it off when I blew an end cap off the Resi on a hard hit :eek: But really think that was related to another issue.
