What could be causing the 15a break fuse to keep blowing?

Maybe a pinched or chewed up wire somewhere.

Lol. I actually put a 30A in mine because I was out of 15A. Just remembered after reading this gotta replace that.. on my work truck it has happened twice with the tail lights it fills up with water and actually corroded the bulb harness and kept popping fuses until the harness was replaced. Maybe you have water in tail light or headlights. Look at running light bulb harness and brake light harness

The only time I’ve ever jumped up in size for a fuse was on my main power to a distribution block for my stereo. I was young and built my own system. Found I was putting two small a fuse in the fusible link. I was running Two amps and kept cooking that fuse. I have done it in a pinch when I knew the circuit was good.

But I definitely don’t recommend anyone jumping up fuse sizes for a situation like this.

For the record I was kidding. Mine was purely because I had to drive it that night less than a week ago. I never drive it because I have the work truck hence why I forgot. :facepalm:coincidence I read this thread and I popped all my 15A when I did the alternating blinker mod.

Do you have a aftermarket trailer wiring harness? Could be broken wire or corrosion. Water in tail light?
    :notsure:

Yup, I'm sure the cooked wires in the back area where the fire was are the problem. Have a new harness on the way from @Roman should fix it. Thanks for replying!
