Spent the day in them for Tillamook National Forest, fishing for steelhead. Did not catch anything today.
But if anyone is down for fishing let me know. I do get my fair share though.

Can you tell me what cargo rack system you have? Thinking I will need to get one soon.

 

I went with the Yakima towers and and jet stream crossbars. I had Rack Attack on 99W in Tigard install them. I wanted the track system instead of the clips so I could change the spacing on the bars to whatever I needed. Wider for when I haul 10' paddle boards and narrower for regular surf boards. They are also quick release so I can remove them without any tools. If you go this route, make sure you buy the locks for the towers, otherwise they can be easily stolen. The whole set up was a little under $600.00.

Guess who rescued this piece of crap Ram Promaster work vehicle from the snow? Chains came off 3 times and I got stuck. Supervisor’s Tundra saved me lol. I hate inferior vehicles! #tundranation

 

Took the kiddo to the mountain today. Great snow at Stevens Pass. She also thought it was funny to draw on the rear door. We had a little chat about that.

Thanks man. It was my first time using that full setup over the bed and was happy that my vision for it worked out so well.

 

You guys still have snow? Ours melted 2 days after snowmageddon and haven't seen any since.

 

Yeah in the Seattle area it's all piled up and melting slowly. Roads even side streets are totally clear now.
In fact this was one of the best things I've seen about how Seattle reacted to this.

Last weekend during the snowpocalypse storm got out on an Oregon north coast stream.

 

We’re up in Pasco picking out a new puppy (drove up yesterday afternoon). Took 84 from Portland out.
I was dreading an icy drive with a bunch of morons who can’t drive, but thankfully it was super smooth.
There was a wreck on 84 in Hood River that had traffic stopped entirely. Thankfully I was able to pop off an exit and sneak through the back roads. 8 min detour and the rest of 84 was almost entirely mine LOL.
Such a beautiful drive!
Heading home here shortly.
