Being in Canada there is gravel everywhere in the winter. I really don't want any poke as I like my paint and respect the people behind me and their windshields. Are there any examples of nice wheels that'll give minimum / zero poke? Am I stuck with OEM which I think are +40 or +50?

I'm not in Canada, but since I live at the end of a half mile long gravel driveway I completely understand. Every time I pull out onto the main road I here the rocks flying out of the treads. I personally don't understand the craze with poke that seems to be all over the tire and wheel thread.

I got all kinds of stone chips in front of my rear tires… that piece stone guard is way too small… and that’s just from feb till now.. with stock wheels. I hate running boards, they are too narrow for my size 13 boot, and all the mud just rubs on the back of my pant legs. But I’ll have to waste $800 on them just to stop the rocks coming off my front tires..

I would say some folks just like a wider stance and that’s 1 way of achieving it…you will probably find that extreme poke isn’t really the craze it might be portrayed to be…most folks seems to stick in the +25 to +12 realm with +18 being the sweet spot.

I am at +12 myself…I do drive on gravel 5 times per week and do have those rock flying off…but i understand it’s not for everyone.

I don’t have any chips as yet (knock on wood)

No poke seems to be around +35 and higher to answer the OP questions (not a lot of aftermarket choices with that though).
I think Method has a set of 17’s that come in that offset as well as a few other manufacturers that I can’t recall…might need to go do an intensive search.

35mm+ offset and 12.5 should be right at zero poke, go 11.5 if you want to be 100% sure
