Well I was doing some research as to why do this calibration and I noticed my bully dog had an option for it. Followed the instructions on my bully dog but I didn’t do what the other guys who disconnected the battery afterwards so my truck was going crazy on the nannies. Figured out I could just turn key off and leave it for 10 minutes and boom things are well adjusted. The best thing about it, I have my truck leveled and the brakes were lacking now it feels so much better. The brakes actually engage faster with less effort. Totally worth the small troubles I dealt with.

I had to look it up. I didn't know the ZPC had anything to do with brakes.

Does this need to be done for a 2" lift? Can it be done with a paperclip on 2.5 Gen?

As sensitive as the electronics is in the 2.5 gen, I wouldn't do the paperclip method. On the 2nd gen, a ZPC was required as part of every alignment. Now that I'm thinking about it, I have never seen anyone even mention the ZPC for the 2.5 gen trucks. :monocle:

That’s probably why I’ve had a hard time searching for it. My Fox Pro shocks get delivered tomorrow, so I just wanted to make sure I had it all planned out. I did get the speed sensor relocation bracket.

There is someone on here that is a tech at Toyota that may chime in. I have Toytecs on my 2020 and I'm sitting about 4 in the front and 2 in the rear with no issues at all.

Didnt know it was a thing unless someone was getting some of the errors and lights firing.

Not sure I understand how it would impact brakes or anything other than some of the safety and traction stuff. Guessing it is not needed if you dont have some alert or error flashing at you?
