What do you purchase??? Other option are to buy several things that add up to the Grand total, and never get those other things for maybe another year or 2. Wife is starting school again.
    Your opinions are appreciated
    Here are some options...

    1) Replace chrome grill and bulge with matching Super White ~$530 + tax

    2) Bam exhaust $429.90 - $699.99

    3) Tonneau cover $200.00

    4) Under seat storage unit $189.95

    5) Replace head unit with up to date unit $500.00

    6) 3" lift which can vary from $170

    Here's what I'm working with

I just love trucks. Came from a 2015 Ecoboost F-150 and knew this Tundra was my truck when I researched and saw it. I don't do any off-roading, nothing crazy. I just drive it a lot. I use the navigation because I do HH Physical Therapy, but the sun can drown out the screen and make it difficult to see it. I've also always appreciated the slightly lifted look, the sound of a good muffler and etc. I've thought of the tonneau cover because it could help with gas mileage and when we go on trips, place things back there and keep it safe. I also like not having chrome, but know this will be a long expensive process... Hope this helps

If this is the case, I personally would invest in the exhaust. De-chroming would be a close second. The added tone from the exhaust is going to make you appreciate the truck more. Depending on where you live the tonneau could actually hurt your MPG's(There is a lot of physics involved here). Storage is great but where is the fun factor. After you install it you won't even get to see or hear it. As for the head unit I would keep it for a while, and see what about it you really need to address, because that may change over time. in addition I am not really sure the quality of a lift you would get at this price point. This is just how I think about things hope it helps you.

In the same situation with $1200 to spend. Spent $300 on window tint and Xpel clear bra. Now trying to decide if I want to pony up enough for the Fox 2.0 coilovers or color matched grill surround and hood bulge.

It all comes down to what fits your style more. Storage, performance, etc... A lift and/or exhaust would benefit all around.

For the tonneau cover, how would I determine how it effects me by where I love? I live in Austin, TX and do a lot of city driving and decent highway driving to get to the other side of town for certain patients.

I've been going back and fourth on the head unit to be honest. I wish there was a way to update it.

Here is the lift I was speaking of, or one of the ones I was directed to. http://zoneoffroad.com/display?ma=10&yr=2017&mo=157&ca=78

If you don't mind, what mods have you done and in what order?

I assure you that any gains or decreases due to a tonneau are going to be negligible. I wrote something a while back when everyone was removing there tailgates to improve gas millage that I was trying to find for you, but I could not. Here is the quick version. Modern pickups are designed to have a certain amount of down force to the rear wheels in order to maximize work being done. They use the force from the wind in the bed to help with this. Tonneaus disrupt that. Keep in mind when going up hill or down hill all of this changes. manufactures generally design in a flat wind chambers for ideal conditions. My point is get the Tonneau if you like it, but not to save on fuel usage because depending on geographic location driving style and a host of other things you may see zero change. If I told you it would help you in Austin I would only be guessing. Going back and fourth with the head unit does not surprise me that is why I said give it some time. I am still unsure in this department I have only owned this particular pick for about 8 months though so I am not familiar with that lift. I am sure one of the guys in here can chime in, these guys know there stuff.

My mods are not many and have been mostly cosmetic to this point
    De-badged the entire truck
Replace the antenna with a stubby
    New husky floor mats
Vinyl wrapped the Chrome bumper caps
    Baja Design Fog lights
Replace chrome grille with he Color matched TRD Pro grille
Updated to the 2018 LED light
I got the TRD intake as a Christmas gift
New set of Wheels and Tires

Things that are happening this year are Icon Stage 4 and Rock Sliders.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I thought all the TSS Tundras got the front leveling kit. Here is my 2018 4x4 and my 2wd looked exactly the same as does every TSS I have seen. The OP's doesn't appear to be.

I've seen some people post about lifts to not level it out because of the sensor in the front will be thrown off. It has to have the natural rake in order for it to function properly. But yeah, mine has a small dip in the front

Great stuff buddy. I appreciate your insight. If anything, I would say the cover would be a cosmetic thing and if I received better mileage, it would be a bonus. I average about 60 miles/day, about 15 mpg, so any help would make me happy. Haha. I'm probably leaning more towards the exhaust first like you mentioned.

How are you liking the TRD exhaust? Do you happen to know a place that sells it at a lower price than Toyota or Bam? I saw somewhere a while back that was under $800 I believe but can't seem to locate it. I could be wrong

Also, for anyone who can answer this. How much of an effect will a sway bar have for normal daily driving? I assume people get them for off-roading or because it's the cool thing, I'm very unsure about reasons to get one.

The first thing I did was color match the grille and bulge, then I did the TRD exhaust, ESP storage unit, leather on the steering wheel, TRDPro wheels and today did the door sails w/ tweeters.

Thinking back now I should of started with leather interior with heated seats.

But 4x4 right?? Not sure of that makes a difference since 4x4s are usually more level. Maybe that sensor was built specifically for a 4x4 and then they have one for the 4x2.

You mean aftermarket or you buying and doing the mods for your seats? You should post pics of your truck with news mods in and out.
These are the wheels I'm looking at as well.

Thinking about katzkin, they go for $500 on ebay, just solid colors, and installing myself with the heat elements. I like the fuel wheels, was looking at those and black rhinos. I went with TRD Pro Wheels because I got a good deal on them $500.
