He might. Small price for toyota to pay for publicity. And this time they can say the 5.7 made it a million miles. After all, that is by far their most popular engine

The big question will be what kind of repairs he's had over the years. From what I remember, the other guy didn't need anything major done

Maybe our soon-to-be million mile Tundraer should call the 1-800 number......

Besides the video, the others were gas motors. Diesel 1m mile trucks are a bit more common.

Only Ford trucks that made it a million miles were 7.3 PSD/IDI and even those weren't made by Ford.

After 220,000 I traded in my 2004 Cummins for my Tundra. Other than some accessories being replaced (water pump, alternator) the engine itself was still good. The front end was falling apart horribly, and it was becoming a money pit in parts alone. The biggest issue with the diesel is the $160.00 oil changes and when something breaks getting out of the shop for less than $300.00 is a bargain.

Yep. Sounds about right. Pretty impressed you got out of your diesel for that at 220k and no injectors. I had a 04.5 and I had to sell it at 75k miles. It was just costing my retirement, quite literally.

Can't really compare diesel to regular gas vehicles, they burn differently. Thus why all delivery/semi trucks are diesel. Imagine if they were on regular gas..
