Looking for recommendations on places to stay near Yellowstone this June. Will be making a trip out with my family and it looks like the Hotels in the Park are already booked so looking for other suggestions.

Also if you have any recommendations on what to see other than the big stuff let me know. Thanks for the help in advance.

Make sure you go to Grand Tetons as well. It's been a long time since I have been there. I think I was 8 back in 1990 the last time I was there, but take the beartooth hwy it goes from the park to Red Lodge Montana, beautiful scenery along the way. Other than that, hit up the big stuff like the Grand Canyon of the yellowstone. Stop by Ol Faithful inn and walk around. Checkout the hot springs and mudpots and stuff like that, just be ready for the smell.

Take the ferry on Teton Lake and hike up into the canyon in Grand Teton park. Only 20 minutes from Yellowstone.

Camp on Jenny Lake in Teton park- sun sets behind the peaks
Go to Big Sky Montana-really cool town
Go see Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
    Yellowstone Falls
