Can someone tell me if this is something they would have added to their truck from the dealership. I had it done for mine, but after reading about it, I see there are mixed reviews. Is this like a ceramic coating? Any thoughts?

I’m not familiar with this particular brand, but I know most people recommend not getting a coating from a dealership. From what I hear, they don’t use the highest quality brands, and it’s not as professional of a job. Of course there are always exceptions.

One other thing I’ve heard is that they don’t honor their warranties unless you come in regularly for “touch up”. That’s something you’ll probably want to verify.

This stuff has been around for quite a while....I remember it as far back as 2010. It's a fairly solid product, but where they get you is the warranty. Make sure you read it thoroughly...it's worded such that it will be tough for you to collect if you have an issue. Coatings have come so far since then, and the cost factor and ease of application of some of today's products makes the dealer installed stuff legitimately over-priced and over-hyped.
