So if I put a BDS 6 in coilover lift kit on my Limited would it be okay to put TRD decals on the truck? Or would that be a poser move? I mean I wouldn't put 5.0 badges on a 6 cylinder Mustang.:mudding:

Better go with a BDD decal.

I wouldn't do it but then again it's only a sticker.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I think I will probably go for the four and a half lift. I was thinking 6 is probably a little too much but I have seen some Tundras that just look awesome with 6-inch Lift.

Very valid point. Thanks for the input. Maybe the toytec 3 inch lift with coilovers. I just heard the toy Tech can run a bit stiff. I don't want to be a poser but I like the TRD off-road decals.

    ToyTec offers several lift options.

This is the one I was looking at because it is reasonably priced the only option is to add the differential drop. I just read some mixed reviews about it riding stiff. There's just really know where to go with solid input on different lifts. You know some will say the stuff is awesome and then another will say it's junk I just want to get it right the first time LOL

Call ToyTec. Very few complaints here with them.

Yep and I think it looks great with a debadged as well. But, I do like the badges especially after I black them out I just think it looks great but wanted to add a decal to the rear to even it out.

LOL... I know true but the guys that spent the money on the TRD series sport paid for the upgraded suspension and I chose to go for the limited for the options. Just don't want to offend. And I am very far from politically correct:oldglory:

If you like them get them and put them on. I love the TRD decals personally and would be putting them on if I didn’t have a TRD SR5....

Good Samaritan my friend haha. You could always put the stickers on and say they mean something else to the picky-at-heart. Like: The Raging Dong. Or something:anonymous:

I don’t think very many guys are “protective” of their TRD off-road/ sport decals. Now if you wanted to throw a Pro decal or something along those lines, you’d probably catch some heat for it. Ironically, most people are switching out their suspension anyways so the decals don’t really mean much. Like others have said, it’s your truck, do what makes you happy!

There really isn’t much difference between the standard model’s and TRD models unless it’s a pro. The shocks are only slightly better. If you’re upgrading to a better shock and you like the stickers. Go for it bro, I like the splash of red myself.

IMO don’t go for bracket lift. Truck will still look sick with 2.5-3.5” lift. If you’re hellbent on doing it then go for it. I can appreciate any Tundra I drive by no matter what the build.

I have the 2016 Limited TRD OffRoad. The TRD Have the 18” wheels vs 20”, Bilstein Shocks, and cheap skid plates underneath, and the TRD OFFROAD 4X4 Decals. I should’ve bought the Limited because I took off the shocks and did a 7” BDS w/ Fox Coilovers. I started to go with a 6 inch Rough Country and decided to go 7” BDS because of the BDS warranty and I could later go to a 37” tire without any issues. I’m running 35” now.

Wow! That really looks nice! That is exactly what I'm going for a nice aggressive stance but still very clean. How do you like the ride of the BDS and the Fox coilovers. Say same ride comfort as stock or better?
