    you will like the cooker, I know that it lights with a paper towel soaked in oil for half of the paper towel, I also used the paper towel to wipe down the inside of the cooker for the first time. I just use an electric starter and count on replacing at least yearly. They burn out pretty quickly. Enjoy

    That's what I have. My dad has a XL and it's too big. It also takes like 4x as much charcoal to fill er up.
    You are going to love it. I've got some Ribeyes that will are going on the egg in T-Minus 4.5hrs

    Don't know where the nearest Home Depot is to you but the Royal Oak lump charcoal is good. Large pieces without the rope and other useless stuff that can come in a bag.

    A lil tip.. put a piece of foil or something over the thermometer dial when not in use if you dont cover the bge. After a few months I noticed moisture in mine. It dried back out but I keep it covered now.
