    Anyone have one? Thoughts?

Think I'll give to the wife. Would be perfect for her purse...

I got the "Snake Slayer" for Christmas from my nephews. Never fired it. Thinking about trading it in on a Glock 20/40 or Sig Sauer P220.

It's cool but it's not my style

Bond Arms makes a quality firearm, not sure on the Cobra. Do some research. Don't want to give your wife an unreliable handgun.

True. I will be firing it plenty before I let her carry it of course. Here's an article about the Cobra derringer and the merit of buying and using one

Derringers. An interesting anachronism that went out with top hats. You literally have one shot (well, maybe two), preferably "belly-to-belly", and under extreme stress, to avoid total victimhood. I would consider my wife much better off simply exercising "self-awareness". At least she wouldn't have to worry about a illegal carry weapon being discovered after a vehicle accident, forgetting to remove before approaching TSA, or unauthorized use by grandchildren.

Those can be brutal to shoot, most find them very uncomfortable. Definitely take your wife out and have her shoot this. If she doesn't like it, it will not be on her radar screen if she gets into a situation that requires her to defend herself.

Nice. Those are often referred to as Odammit guns. It's the sound the shooter makes when they set off the first round. Make sure your wife can cock it and pull the trigger. The hammer pull and the trigger pull are pretty hefty.

I got my girl this Sig 9mm for her to carry it’s small but way easier to shoot than the belly gun that thing has crazy recoil but it sure is pretty and nice conversation piece

It actually fits well in the hand the grip is really fat and the gun is very heavy it wasn’t horrible but i am 6’2 275 pounds for a woman I think it’s way to much recoil I only shot it 4 times 2 with 45acp and 2 410 then I let the guy next to me at the range fire a couple cause he thought it was cool to see one.
