IT seems the mass exodus from California is coming south . Just so you know your leaving California not bringing it with you I hope. LOL .
I would think that if the 2022 tundra doesn't make the trip then you just not destined to move.

    You'll be JUST FINE Amigo.

Right now, today, with no extra work, I would climb inside my 1997 T-100 with 275,000 miles on it and drive right behind you all the way across the country with absolutely no worries. Your truck comes from good stock.

Were you having issues with the truck, or did you just buy a new one?

Edit: never mind, I'm slow. I thought California was bad in the early 1980's. I haven't been back since, but I can't even imagine now.

2850 miles in 2.5 days. Truck was great. 15.8MPG average the whole way going 80-85, larger tires, 17 cases of wine.
Sensors freaked out a bit going through snow in New Mexico. But overall, was great.

I have done a few long highway trips in mine and it's a great road trip vehicle. I find it comfortable and appreciate the tech and adaptive cruise. Only thing I can complain about is the gas mileage. I do notice mileage appears to get exponentially worse the faster you go. Wind resistance, I suppose. At 80-85 it's pretty terrible.

He's around a lot. Seen him, at restaurants, stores etc. even Walmart. Lots of drivers here. See a lot of them at my club on Wednesdays for golf.
